Shop with Points - Discover

Shop with Points offers customers the ability to pay for purchases at Amazon.com using their rewards from banks or credit card issuers. After completing an easy registration process, customers enrolled in eligible programs may use rewards to pay for an order at Amazon.com in the same way that they would use any other payment method. Items that currently may not be purchased using Shop with Points include some digital goods, Subscribe and Save items, or Amazon Fresh. Please also note that currently you may not use 1-Click to purchase products using Shop with Points. At this time Discover Cashback Bonus or Miles can only be redeemed for online orders at Amazon.com and are not redeemable over the phone.

Eligible credit cards include Discover it, Discover it Chrome, Discover it Miles, Discover it Student, Discover it Student Chrome, Discover More, Discover it Business and Discover it Secured.

If you do not have your Discover Card in your Amazon.com wallet, please follow the "Add your Discover Card" link below to add the card to your Amazon.com wallet. If your card is already in your Amazon.com wallet, please follow the "Enroll in Shop with Points" link below to enroll the card in Shop with Points. During the enrollment process, you will need to provide the information requested and accept terms and conditions.

Yes. Visit the Shop with Points Page in Your Account and click 'Disable' next to the card you would like to un-enroll.

First, check out through your Shopping Cart. You must select your Discover credit card enrolled in Amazon's Shop with Points as your payment method in order to apply rewards to your purchase. You can then choose the amount of rewards you want to apply to the total due. If you do not have enough Discover rewards to redeem for the entire amount, or you only want to use Discover rewards to pay for part of your purchase, you may use your Discover Card, or an Amazon.com Gift Card, to pay for the remainder of your order. Then on the Checkout Page, you'll see the amount of Cashback Bonus or Miles you're using before you place your order listed as 'Rewards' in the Order Summary. There are no additional fees charged for using your Discover Cashback Bonus or Miles at Amazon.com.

Visit the Shop with Points Page in Your Account or proceed to checkout and view your balance on the Payments Page.

Make sure you are still enrolled. To check your registration status, go to the Shop with Points Page in Your Account. After clicking the link, if you still do not see your Discover Card information, try to re-enroll or contact Amazon.com Customer Service at 1-800-201-7575.

Call Discover at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683) or send a secure message to a customer service agent through your Discover account online or on the Discover mobile app.

You may use your Discover Card from which the rewards were applied or use an Amazon.com Gift Card to pay for the remainder of your purchase. You may not, however, use a credit card from an issuer other than Discover or another Discover credit card enrolled in Shop with Points in conjunction with the rewards transaction.

No, you cannot combine rewards from multiple reward programs to pay for a single order.

Your rewards balance will reflect your redemption once an order is submitted. The credit card portion of your order may not be completed until the transaction has processed.

Amazon.com first applies the Cashback Bonus or Miles you requested and verifies the Discover Card. Then the Amazon.com Gift Card is applied. If there is any balance remaining on the purchase, Amazon.com will then apply the remainder to the Discover Card linked to the account.

To use Shop with Points within Shared Payment settings, you must add your card to your personal wallet and enroll it into Shop with Points. Please ensure that your Shared Payment settings are set to “Both Shared and Individual Payment Methods” (only admins can make this change). This will not impact the payment methods in your Shared wallet and approved employees will still be able to use them to make purchases on Amazon. You can add your card to your personal wallet and enroll the card through your Shop with Points account. Note: You cannot use Shop with Points through the Shared wallet and it must be accessed through your personal wallet.
