NEW Alliance Highlights 1

Now accepting new members! The Bootstrap Alliance is a broad-based cooperative dedicated to the improvement of individual, team, and organizational performance in collaborative settings. We kicked off our launch with a series of events in March and June, 1997. We have since been following up with members and candidate members to firm up next steps, which evolved into a Case Study Scenarios project. We had an exciting program around these case studies for our workshop in Washington DC at our November 1997 Exchange. We have also launched a Technology Template project, and which has published an initial Technology Framework document on the web, which formed the basis for our demo presentation at CHI98 in April (see Events. We have also launched a small Technology Awareness project with DARPA, and are exploring funding opportunities with NSF. The Board of Directors last met February 6, 1998. Our next 3-day Quarterly Exchange will be held in early November, 1998, in Washington, DC. 1A
