I wonder who would?

What I find most infuriating is that I could marry an Asian woman in the
USA on a student visa and she would not have to return to her country; the
INS could not separate us. As one who was parted from the male love of his
life by these exact circumstances, I hold this difference very dear.

I say we start with our individual selves, and we start in the workplace.
We set fine examples as decent, hard-working, personable and likeable
people with lovers we don't cheat on or trade around. We set the finest
examples we can, and we do so with tact and timing, not shock and camp.
And we have a lot of negative ones to offset. We counter the negative
images created in the public mind with wholesome ones, and let people know
that we too love our partners, that we are capable of fidelity, and that we
need respect too.
