Lotus Imperial Court: Friday, October 18th, 1996

The Gay Vietnamese Alliance is proudly inviting you to attend the most
unique, exciting event of 1996:
The Lotus Imperial Court, a runway contest and talents show,
on Friday, October 18th, 1996,
at Dem Mau Hong niteclub,
14241 Euclid St, Garden Grove, CA (between Hazard and Westminster).
Doors are open at 8:30pm.
Program starts at 9:30pm.
Dancing will follow from 11pm to 1:30pm.
Tix are $12 for GVA members, $15 for non-members presale (Different Light
Bookstore, Los Angeles, and Bich Thu Van, inside Phuoc Loc Tho, Bolsa Mall),
$20 at the doors. VIP preferred seating will be availabe for $30.
There will be a maximum of 10 male contestants running for the titles of
Emperor, and the Crowned Prince, and a maximum of 10 "ladies" competing for
the titles of Empress and the Crowned Princess. They will be all appearing
in swimmwear/gymwear, streetwear and formalwear. Prices values in hundred of
dollars. Besides, the contest, there will be dancing, singing, comedy
numbers to entertain the guests.
The event is 21 and over with proof of ID. No blue jean or shorts.
