Message: | Roy's Rancho Mirage was extremely disappointing. I think they are just too new to expect a well-run establishment (I have a rule about not going to new places for the first 3 months, which I broke). My fish was so undercooked I had to send it back, the waiter was not well-trained or familar with the menu or food preparations to answer our questions very well. I am sure the experience is much better in Hawaii where the fish is fresher and it's probably a bit more laid back. The chocolate souffle was very good, but not worth going back for. I'm sure its a good place once they get their act together, but I think it's too soon to tell at that location.
A lovely little discovery we found was a Coffee Shop-type place called Don and Sweet Sues. The food was tasty and the service was outstanding, prices reasonable. |
