The best food I've had in Mexico is the street food. Where can we go in LA? I have some thoughts and would like yours: 8th Street, south side near Guelaguetza: Tamales. Downtown near produce market (say 10th and Main or so): I've had good breakfast burritos early on a weekend morning. York Blvd around 46th Avenue: Seem to be a number of taco stands late at night. And at least one bar/nightclub that could be just across the border in an entertainment zone (I'm not going in there again. I don't know the rules). Alameda Swap Meet.
