Okay, okay, I know it seems I've lost my mind, but here's what I'm seeking:
 
A restaurant with comfy booths located somewhere in between Hermosa Beach and Beverly Hills.
 
Here's the backstory: It's "meet the parents" night for my man. He's uptown and the parents are down to earth. They like all kinds of food - I'm the chowhound of the group, so of course I want it to be tasty. BUT it's gotta be comfy - cozy. My dad has back problems - he's going in for his 10th surgery next week! And I think a place that has cocktails would help loosen everyone's gears, too.
 
Any suggestions are most appreciated. Thanks!
