Some people might disagree with me, but I think Delmonico's on Pico, not to far from Beverly Dr. is great. They have tall private booths that are very comfortable, the decor is old style wood and tile (I think art deco influence), the food is consistently good, they have a full bar with a decent wine list. It's also nice because it gets a mixed crowd of older people and younger people. I've seen older people dressed up for a night on the town there and younger people in after work or jeans attire. They're know for their seafood...I love the scallops, but I've also had one of the best steaks ever there. As well as, they have pastas and I really like their lobster bisque.
