Message: | It seems EVERYONE likes a weekend breakfast out - my guy and I have the same problem in our neighborhood - Doughboys, Quality Food and Beverage, Mani's, Jan's, Cash Cow Cafe, Eat Well, Flora Kitchen, etc. are all packed! Although I'm a native LA girl, I'm still shocked by how packed these places (esp. King's Road Cafe) are even on weekdays. Actors! :) I would avoid Omlette Parlor and Maxwell's unless it's 7am or 2pm. Anyway, here are some other weekend places (not guaranteed to be totally crowd free, however): Lares - mexican breakfast Pico west of Centinela (down the street from...) Rae's - has great pancakes, too! Barney Greengrass - swanky and pricey at the top of Barney's in Beverly Hills Lazy Daisy Cafe - Pico (I haven't tried it though!) Nate N Al's - Beverly Hills Martha's 22nd St Grill - Hermosa Beach (22nd & Strand) Great eggs benedict of every variety Le Marmiton - French cafe on Montana Marmalade Cafe - Cafe on Montana Nichols - Recently remodled diner in the Marina. Kind of Coco's-esque, but pretty yummy. Good luck, morning warrior! |
