Welcome to the Dominion Institute's 5th annual Great Questions Essay Competition!
Built around the spirited analysis of twelve of the country's leading
commentators, the Great Questions Essay Competition encourages
high school and university students to weigh-in on six key debates about Canadian history and culture.
Last year, Thomas Mathew from Sir James Dunn Collegiate and Vocational School in Sault St. Marie, Ontario won the $2,000 cash prize for his essay on the Great Questions topic "Identity Revolution". For the 2003-2004 academic year the Dominion Institute is offering another $2,000 cash prize for the best student essay on one of the six Great Questions topics.
