Saxon's first impression around here was not a good one. He was virtually squatting in Lou's house while it was empty. He even went as far as vandalizing it with black paint as a kind of protest, more like a cry for help, I'd say.

What none of us could know at the time was that Saxon's mother was living out her last days in hospital, and poor Saxon was doing his best to cope on his own. I got a bit curious when he ordered one too many take-aways from me at the Coffee Shop. And his mother never seemed to be around.

When Saxon's mother died, he came to stay with me for a time, just until Roger, his father could return to Australia to take care of his son. Mind you I wasn't too keen on Roger's answer to the problem: boarding school. Saxon wasn't too keen either. But in the end we agreed it was the best solution.
