Where to buy TheOpenCD
As with most Open Source Software, TheOpenCD can
be freely copied and
even sold commercially. A large number of small companies provide
such a service for those who find it more convenient to purchase CDs
than to download and burn them. While these firms mainly focus on Linux
and BSD, many now also provide discs with applications such as
TheOpenCD, GnuWinII, or plain OpenOffice. Official partnersThese CD shops carry our official printed version of the disc, complete with a 4-colour sleeve and a protective PVC cover. They also provide bulk packs of 10 such discs, which can be useful for wider distribution or as gifts.
Other resellersThere are several companies that produce their own version of the disc for sale from our down-loadable ISO images. The content of the CD is the same as the official version, but the on-CD print and covers will vary. |
