The first french gay and lesbian arab association, KELMA, ( arabic for " free speach" )has been created. They fix as their objective to "federate the cultural and social activities of gay and lesbian franco-arabs". The new association announced they will also bring the "gospel" to the other side of the mediterranean home countries, Algeria, Morroco, Tunisia, create a listening post, provide international access to gay communities to promote a fruitful exchange.
