-> Eugène Flandin lithographs of Persia circa 1840-1841. Flandin was a painter hired by the French government to travel in Iran accompanied by the architect Pascal Coste. His mission was to create the works of art you are about to view.

-> Louis-Emil Duhouset sketches of Persia and its people circa 1858-1860. Duhouset was a French army officer who visited Iran as part of a French military mission. He was also interested in anthropology and the sketches presented here belong to his work in that subject.
