There’s a lot of talk behind the “three things you must do before you graduate.” Admittedly, they’re all pretty worthwhile: who wouldn’t want to run around naked, at least once, while Japanese tourists snap photos? Who wouldn’t want to pee on the olde foot of our beloved founding benefactor? From what I’ve gathered, many Harvardians actually accomplish these two missions. But the jewel of the Big Three is sex in Widener. It’s the toughest task, the most glamorous, the most satisfying. Only the select few — the elite, as it were — get WidenerSex.
But for all of you ballers out there, I ask you this: why stop with Widener?

Most people who know me (hi, Mom!) know that I have a boyfriend. For those of you who have read my supremely geeky arts columns over the past year, this may come as something of a surprise. Even more surprising, actually, is not only that I have done this, but that I have done it more than once during my time at Harvard. I’m not saying it was easy; few and far between are the men who can understand a reference to Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo or get pumped about spending a Saturday evening plowing through Gandhi. Suffice it to say, I did find one of these men, and that he is charming, intelligent, hilarious, and just as much of an enormous geek as I am. We’ve been together for eighteen months, and while our relationship isn’t always perfect (I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of basketball blogs or playing old Zelda games on one’s laptop), it’s certainly been fun.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Good Sex*

Already blazed through Lady Chatterly’s Lover, Lolita, and maybe even Justine? Looking for something a little less SparkNote, but deeper than what Heather Graham or Johanna Lindsey can provide? Don't fret: four unsung books of passion await you. All of the novels below seek to explore humanity by confronting sexual angst and inhibitions head-on and without protection, rather than leaving them frustratingly untouched — something that I greatly appreciated at the age of sensual frustration, cataclysmic relationship detonations, and simple despondent longing for a connection more deeply seeded in our souls than… well, you get the picture.
