I am originally from Kimball, Nebraska where my dad and grandmother still live. I lived in Columbus, Nebraska for about nine years before moving to Omaha. My mother and about half of her family live there. I have two older brothers: Wes works on his own Denver, CO. He used to freelance and has a small software company called Wesware. My other brother, Bill, is married and lives in Denver, CO where he runs a furniture delivery crew.

As I mentioned before, I'm a Computer Engineering major at University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am currently a junior and intend to complete this degree before it drives me insane. Consequently this site is pretty basic because of the limited spare time I have. I got a job working as an automotive technician through the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills Contest. Our team took second place and high written. The team that took first was also from Columbus and went on to compete nationally and rank fifth in the nation. Our great success was due in great part to our automotive instructor, Ron Haefner. Columbus's two teams had the only two perfect cars and finished well over 30 minutes ahead of the rest of the 19 teams from Nebraska. I had an opportunity to be sponsored through tech school by QLM but declined and was offered a part time job.

When I lived in Columbus I did quite a bit of odds and ends freelancing. I gave most of that up when I moved to Omaha mainly because of time constraints and the fact that making house calls in Omaha doesn't exactly make me feel extremely safe and I'm too small of an operation to do business work.
