Fine Jewellery

Bonhams and Goodman are now calling for entries for the Fine Jewellery auctions being held on August 25 in Melbourne and in Syndey on the 22 September.

In the past six years the Bonhams & Goodman Jewellery auction business has grown to be the most successful jewellery department in Australia with gross annual sales of more than twice that of it closest rival. 

The Jewellery Department conducts four major sales of Fine Jewellery each year in Sydney. Since November 2006 the company has also conducted sales of Fine Jewellery in Melbourne.

Our most recent auction held on the 30 June 2008 surpassed expectations, finishing with $1.379million in sales (including buyers premium).

Adding to the successful result was a magnificent rare Fancy Intense Yellow diamond ring that exceeded the upper estimate of $280,000 and sold for AUS $402,600 (inc buyers premium). An important 5.25ct emerald cut diamond ring which sold for $114,720 (inc buyers premium) and an 18ct gold graduated diamond line necklaces that sold for $137,425 (inc buyers premium).
