Linux

Static i386 binary package : texmaker_linux_installer (graphic installer)
(compiled with gcc 4.3)
Installation :

  1. Download the file and make it executable
  2. Run the installer as super user : "sudo ./texmaker_linux_installer" on ubuntu or "su" and "./texmaker_linux_installer" on other linux systems.
  3. To install Texmaker, just click on "I accept the license" and on the "Install" button.
French, german and traditionnal chinese translation files are included in the program.

Note : the kde4 oxygen style can't be used with this version compiled statically with Qt (the oxygen style is not included in the Qt library). Texmaker must be compiled on a system with kde4 to use the oxygen style.

Compilation :
The Qt toolkit (version >= 4.3.0) is required to compile Texmaker.
Unix and MacOsX systems : type "sh BUILD.sh" in a terminal as "super user".
Windows : use the commands "qmake texmaker.pro" and "make".
