Description of program: Curriculum Design


A Program of study leading to the master degree of Pure Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.

Goals and Objectives of Degree:

The M.Sc holders be qualified both in teaching and academic career.

Minimum Requirements:

University Requirements:-

  • M.SC. with Thesis :
    Required (18 cr) and elective (9 cr).
  • M.SC with a Comprehensive exam.:
    Required (24 cr) and elective (9 cr)

Teaching Methods:

Theoretical courses that require lecturing, attendence and a direct contact with the professors.

Assessment and Evaluation Techniques:

- One or two one-hour exams during the course
- Home works
- Presentations
- A fainal two hour exam.
- A comorehensive exam or a thesis.
