Business Services: Budget Information - Capital Facilities

Capital Facilities Fund

A major component in the monitoring of District facilities funds is that of providing information to the Board and community regarding the progress and financing of the District’s ongoing facilities needs.

Financial reports for the receipt and expenditure of developer fees, accounted for within the Capital Facilities Fund, are presented to the Board following the close of the financial records for the previous year.

A detailed review of the financial transactions for revenues and expenditures from the Capital Facilities Fund has been performed for the 2005-06 fiscal year. Following that review, the detailed transactions have been summarized by site. It is the practice of the administration to present this report annually in order to develop and maintain an historical financial record on a fiscal year basis. This also provides a method by which the project by project expenditures and annual revenues on future cash flows can be directly tied back to the District’s financial records.
