Brought to you by Filipiniana.net, in partnership with The International Conferences on Philippine Studies (ICOPHIL) Board, the ICOPHIL Collection contains abstracts and full-text versions of research papers and case studies presented during the "8th International Conference on Philippine Studies" held at the Philippine Social Science Center (PSSC) of the University of the Philippines and Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) on 23-26 July 2008. Disciplines represented in the project include anthropology, history, government and politics, culture and sociology. By making these papers available over the Internet, the collection aims to further enhance and disseminate recent developments, trends and research findings on Philippine history, culture and society -- thus providing a comprehensive view on Philippine realities and contribute to the increasing interest in the academic field of Philippine Studies.
