"The Cherry Orchard" is Anton Chekhov’s comedy about estate life at turn-of-the-century Russia, on the eve of the Russian Revolution. After squandering away the family fortune, wealthy landowners are forced to auction their beloved cherry orchard.

Originally from a small town south of Chicago, Nickella Dee recently played Prince Edward in "Richard III." (Odyssey/Circus Theatricals). Other favorite roles include Irena in "The Three Sisters," Pamina in "The Magic Flute," Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Rosannah in "Brilliant Traces," Abigail in "The Crucible," Joanna in "HomeFree" and Olivia in "Twelfth Night." Nickella Dee is also a singer/songwriter/composer on piano and guitar. She's a member of the Circus Theatricals Studio Ensemble.

Born in London, Jill's vast theatre credits include "St. Joan," "Antigone," "Twelfth Night," "Uncle Vanya," "Arms & the Man," "Candida," "Anthony and Cleopatra," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Joan of Lorraine," "Night of the Iguana," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf," "Night Street", "42nd Street," "Destry Rides Again," and "Pal Joey." She starred in the long-running UK television series "The Gentle Touch" and then starred as the same character in its spin-off series "Cat's Eyes." Here in the U.S., she recently played Queen Gertrude in the Odyssey Theatre/Circus Theatricals production of "Hamlet," with Jack Stehlin. L.A. television/film credits include "Baseketball," Northern Exposure," and "Touched by an Angel." A published novelist,Jill is working on her foruth book. She is married to actor Alfred Molina, and recently became a United States citizen. Jill is a Circus Theatricals Associate Artist and a member of the Circus Theatricals Studio Ensemble.

Since returning to the theatre in 1995, Jack has appeared in twenty-two plays. Roles include: Thomas Edison in "Camping with Henry and Tom" (La Mirada), "Picasso in the View for Table Mountain" (West Coast Ensemble), Sorin in "The SeaGull" (Circus Theatricals), The Gravedigger in "Hamlet" (Odyssey/Circus Theatricals) and Peleus in "The Greeks" (The Odyssey). He has been married to his wife Jean for 48 years. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

Alfred MolinaALFRED MOLINA (Lopakhin)
Alfred Molina was last seen on stage as Buckingham in the Circus Theatrcials and Odyssey Theatre co-production of Richard III. His other most recent theatre credits include the 1998/1999 Broadway and Los Angeles productions of "ART" for which he receive an LA Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Tony nomination, and Ovations nomination, the 1995/1996 Roundabout Theatre production of "Molly Sweeney" (Theatre World award, Drama Desk nomination) "Night of the Iguana," "Speed-the-Plow" (1989/1990 National Theatre, London - Olivier Award nomination).

His numerous film credits include: “Chocolat” (SAG nomination), “Texas Rangers,” “Magnolia” (SAG nomination) “Boogie Nights” (SAG nomination), “Enchanted April,” “Frida,” “Plots with a View” "Dudley Do-Right," "Texas Rangers," "Anna Karenina," "The Perez Family," "Maverick," "Not Without My Daughter," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Meantime," "Water," "Eleni," "Ladyhawke," "Letter to Brezhnev," "Prick Up Your Ears, "Manifesto" and "Drowning in the Shallow End."

Throughout his career, Greg has appeared on over 75 plays. Broadway: "Romantic Comedy," "Rumors." Numerous Off-Broadway credits include the recent "Burnt Piano." Regional credits include: Lear in "King Lear," "The Price," "Luv," "Hamlet" and "Indiscretions." In Los Angeles, Greg has won six Drama-Logue and LA Weekly Awards. LA theatre credits include: Shylock in "Merchant of Venice," "Gigli Concert," "Brecht or Brecht," "Names," and "Falling Upward." Over 300 Film and Television credits include: "Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice," "Southside," "Philly," "JAG," and "ER." Greg is best known for his role in the television series "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman." Greg dedicates his performance to his daughter Allison and to Ari.

Paul Taylor RobertsonPAUL TAYLOR ROBERTSON (Pischik)
is originally from Canada, and over the years has appeared in New York City, Williamstown, Boston, and Toronto. He was last seen in "Richard III" (Odyssey/Circus Theatricals), as Chebutykin in "The Three Sisters" (Circus Theatricals Studio Ensemble) and as the Friar and Grimaldi in Ford's "Tis Pity She's A Whore" (Odyssy Theatre). Favorite other roles include Erie Smith in O'Neill's "Hughie," Ben Butley in Simon Grey's "Butley," Sandor Turai in Molnar's "The Play's The Thing," and "The Sea Gull" and "The Three Sisters" (both for Circus Theatricals). Member of Circus Theatricals Studio Ensemble.

Jack Stehlin (Artistic Director, Circus Theatricals), is currently playing Richard III in Richard III. Prior to that, he played Lee opposite Casey Biggs in the critically acclaimed "True West" (which he also directed). Other LA stage credits include "Hamlet" (Casey Biggs, dir.) the title role in "The Cheats of Scapin," (which he also directed). Other L.A. stage credits include ‘Jim’ in the world premiere of "The Job" produced by Circus Theatricals at the Hudson Guild Theatre, and Off-Broadway at the WPA, Charlie Fox in the Los Angeles premiere of "Speed-the-Plow" (Odyssey Theatre) Chicken in Tennessee William’s "The Kingdom of Earth" (Hudson Backstage) Horton Foote’s West Coast premiere of "The Habitation of Dragons" directed by Crystal Brian (Zephyr Theatre)and directed and played Sir Toby Belch in "Twelfth Night," Orgon ("Tartuffe") and Alceste in "The Misanthrope" for Circus Theatricals at the Hudson Guild in Hollywood.

In New York, Mr. Stehlin played Stanley on Broadway in "Brighton Beach Memoirs" directed by Gene Saks. Off-Broadway, in New York, he directed and played "Macbeth" at (C.S.C.) the Classic Stage Company. At the New York Shakespeare Festival, he played Mowbray in Steven Berkoff’s production of "Richard II," The Dauphin in "Henry V" with Kevin Kline, and played Count De Bernis opposite Ethan Hawke in "Casanova" by Constance Congdon, directed by Michael Greif, played Sir Richard Vernon opposite Mandy Patinkin in "Henry IV, I" directed by Des McAnuff, "Julius Caesar" with Al Pacino and Martin Sheen, Alcibiades in "Timon of Athens" directed by Brian Kulick, Richard Foreman’s "Don Juan," and "Romeo and Juliet "directed by Les Waters. Mr. Stehlin appeared previously at CSC in "Phaedra Brittanica", "Don Juan" and "The Learned Ladies." At Primary Stages, Mr. Stehlin created the role of Bobby in Matthew Witten’s "Washington Square Moves," a play he previously read at the O’Neill Playwright’s Conference, of which he is an actor member. A former member of the American Repertory Theater, Mr. Stehlin played Apollo in Robert Wilson’s "Alcestis," which was also featured in the Festival D’Automne in Paris; Truffaldino in Andre Serban’s "The King Stag," which also played the Venice Bienale; JoAnne Akalitis’ "The Balcony" Robert Brustein’s "Six Characters" and created the role of Bobby Nobis in William Hauptman’s "Gillette," directed by David Wheeler. At Hartford Stage, Mr. Stehlin played Sam Draycott in the American premiere of "Hidden Laughter" by Simon Grey, directed by Mark Lamos. Other regional credits include Philadelphia Drama Guild, Indiana Rep, Milwaukee Rep, Paper Mill Playhouse, Baltimore Center Stage, Missouri Rep, The Alley Theatre in Houston and Stamford Center of the Arts (again with Al Pacino in Salome).

Film and Television credits include "Purpose," (with John Light, Mia Farrow & Hal Holbrook), “Blackout Effect” (NBC MOW), “Judging Amy” (CBS), “E.R.” (ABC), “The Practice” (ABC), “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer” (recurring - WB), “Get Real” (WB), “General Hospital” (ABC), and “The Client.” His voice can be heard on A&E; including the voice of John Wilkes Booth on A&E;’s “The John Wilkes Booth Story.”

As a director, Mr. Stehlin has directed himself Off-Broadway as St. Just in "Danton’s Death" at the Rapp Arts Center and "MacBeth" at Classic Stage Company (CSC),"The Stronger" and "No Exit" at The Acting Company Studio, "Tartuffe" (Judith Anderson Theatre), and "Hedda Gabler" at A.T.A. He directed "Driving Miss Daisy" at Stages Rep Theatre in Houston (where he served as Artistic Director in ’88-’89), "Speed-the-Plow" (Alley Theatre in Houston), "My Sister in this House" for the Juilliard School fourth year repertory, and "Twelfth Night," "The Misanthrope," "Tartuffe," "The Cheats of Scapin" and "True West" for Circus Theatricals (Los Angeles).

Mr. Stehlin is a an alumnus of John Houseman's The Acting Company, and a Graduate of the Juilliard School. He serves as Circus Theatricals Artistic Director.

Jeannine WellesJEANNINE WELLES (producer)
Producing credits include over 29 plays for Circus Theatricals, including the recent productions of "True West," and "The Three Sisters." Other producing credits include "Hamlet" and "The Cheats of Scapin," (both Odyssey Theatre/Circus Theatricals co-productions) and the award-winning "The Job" by Shem Bitterman (Los Angeles and Off-Broadway). She also co-produced John Bunzel's "Gravity Shoes" at The Hudson Avenue Theatre.

Writing credits include co-adaptations of the award-winning "Hedda Gabler" (with Casey Biggs), and "Peer Gynt" (with Robert Brownstein).

Also an actress, Jeannine's Los Angeles stage credits include: Olivia in "Twelfth Night", "The Job," "Peer Gynt," "Tartuffe," "The Misanthrope," "Hippolytus," "The Stronger," and "The Shakespeare Chronicles," (all for Circus Theatricals), and "Full Cycle" at The Complex. Chicago Stage credits include: "The Art of Success," "Women and Wallace" (both at the Griffen), "Interior Designs" (Baliwick), "Risk" (Zebra Crossing), "Cats Who Take Chances," "Tom Sawyer" (Second City Player's Workshop), and "The Book of Blanche" (White Noise).

Film credits include: “Watch It” (with Jon Tenney, Peter Gallager, Cynthia Stevenson, Suzy Amis, John C. McGinley, Lili Taylor and Tom Sizemore!),and "Rancho Cucamonga."

Jeannine holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Jeannine serves as Producing Director for Circus Theatricals.

Ron SossiRON SOSSI (producer)
Founder of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, Ron Sossi received the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Award for "demonstrating a continual willingness to experiment provatively in the process of theatre" and the Ron Link Award for "consistent quality of direction." He recently won the LA Weekly Award for "Production of the Year" for "The Greeks."

Ron has led the Odyssey throughout its 31-year history, where acclaimed productions include: "Accidental Death of an Anarchist," "East," "Tea," "Absurd Person Singular," "Road to Nirvana," "God's Country," "The Bacchae," "The Madwoman of Chaillot," "Chicago Conspiracy Trial," "Sight Unseen," "Awake and Sing," "Mary Barnes," "The Swan," "All My Sons," "Avenue X," "Bremen Freedom," "Rhinoceros," "A Perfect Ganesh," "Ali," "900 Oneonta," "The Memorandum," "Taking Sides," and "Scapin," "Hamlet" and "True West" (all three with Circus Theatricals).
