JASON HUBER (Arthur Townsend)

With Circus Theatricals Studio for Actors: Joe in Millenium Approaches. Jason is a recent arrival on the Los Angeles theatre scene from Washington, DC. There he studied and worked at The Studio Theatre where he played Buck in Betty’s Summer Vacation and The Mad Hatter in Wonderland Alice. Favorite roles also include Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bodd in Romeo and Juliatric and Frank Sinatra in the short play The Damnation of John Smith. In Los Angeles he appeared as The Maskmaker in The Best Maskmaker on Hollywood Boulevard, one of eight short plays in Tales From Hollywood Boulevard at The Actor’s Playpen.

ROBERT LESKO (Austin Sloper)

With Circus Theatricals: Iphigenia in Aulis, Coffee to Go and Max (The Circus Theatricals 7th Annual Festival of One Act Plays), The Circle. MARIO SCHUGEL (Morris Townsend)

This marks Mario’s debut in the Los Angeles theatre scene. He most recently appeared as Bluntschli in Moonlight Stage Productions’ Arms and the Man at the Avo Playhouse in San Diego. Prior to that he performed regionally at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, American Players Theatre and Pennsylvania Center Stage among others.

On television, he has appeared on "Nip/Tuck," "CSI," "ER," "Charmed" and "Will and Grace" to name a few. His film credits include titles you unfortunately have not seen.

JADE SEALEY (Marian Almond)

Circus Theatricals credits include: the title role in Iphigenia in Aulis, Sister Cities, Coffee to Go (The Circus Theatricals 7th Annual Festival of New One Act Plays), The Circle, Deconstructing the Torah. Jade will next appear in the Circus Theatricals musical Weedwacker. Jade Sealey’s other recent stage credits include the roles of Cavale in Sam Sheperd’s Cowboy Mouth, Indra’s daughter in Strindberg’s A Dream Play, Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew, The Princess of France in Love’s Labour’s Lost, Constanze in Amadeus, Mary in Green Eyes Dreaming. Jade is also currently playing Baltimore in Sister Cities.

Jade received her BA and went to graduate school in Theatre Arts at UCSC where she did two seasons with Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

(Mrs. Montgomery/Sound Design/Managing Director)

Acting credits include: Macbeth, Twelfth Night, The Job, Peer Gynt, Tartuffe, The Misanthrope, Hippolytus, The Stronger, The Art of Success, Women and Wallace and the films, “Watch It,” and “Rancho Cucamonga." Jeannine made her professional debut on the popular children's program, "Romper Room." Sound design credits include: Man.gov, Greensward, Complexity, and The Circle (LA Weekly "Best Sound Design" nomination).

Produced over 40 plays for Circus Theatricals, including Man.Gov, Iphigenia in Aulis, The Misanthrope, Macbeth, Tartuffe, The Cherry Orchard, Richard III, Hamlet and The Cheats of Scapin, The Circle and the award-winning The Job by Shem Bitterman (LA and Off-Broadway). Jeannine holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

ALLI STEINBERG (Catherine Sloper)

With Circus Theatricals: The Circle, Macbeth and The Last Fling.Off– Broadway: Alli was in the original company of the Pulitzer Prize winning play Wit (MCC and Union Square Theater) and she played “Karen” in Broken Watch Theater Company’s critically acclaimed production of Boy's Life. Other New York credits include: “Masha” in The Three Sisters (Looking Glass Theatre), “Lala” in The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Queens Theatre in the Park), Child of God (The Ohio Theatre-Soho) and Don't Cry Outloud (Musical Theatre Works). Regional credits include: Long Wharf Theatre, The Goodspeed Opera House, Center Stage, Weston Playhouse, The Helen Hayes Center, New York Stage and Film (at Vassar), Forum Theatre, Shakespeare on the Sound and Theatre West Virginia.

Film and Television credits include "Getting Ned," "Fairytale of New York," I"mmaculate Concoction," "As the World Turns" and a sketch comedy spot on "Jimmey Kimmel Live!" Alli received her BFA in Theatre from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and studied in London at BADA.

Derrick McDaniel

DERRICK MCDANIEL (Lights)
With Circus Theatricals: Complexity, Greensward The Misanthrope and Iphigenia in Aulis. Derrick began his acting apprenticeship in 1990 at Theater East in Studio City, CA. This is where he honed the craft of stage lighting. A few of his lighting credits include “The Godfather Workout” for the HBO comedy festival in Aspen; “The Quiet Room” at the Whitefire Theater, “Worse Than Murder” at the Ventura Court Theater, and “Eubie Weller” at the Stella Adler Theater; “Among The Thugs” at the Odyssey Theater- and many others. Derrick was nominated for a 2004 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle award for lighting, in “Among The Thugs”, as well as, a 2005 ADA lighting nomination. He has earned critical acclaim, many times over, for his designs. Derrick would like to thank you for your support of live theater. Enjoy.

As an actor: Numerous Circus Theatricals productions include performances in Man.gov, Three Sisters, Hedda Gabler, Tartuffe, Modigliani, the Circle, Twelfth Night, The Job (Garland Award for Acting). As Director: The Lower Depths, The Maids, Antigone (Anouilh’s).

Robert has over 100 credits in film, Television and the theatre. Recent films include: “War of the Worlds,” “Mrs. Harris,” and the upcoming “Dream Girls.” He has worked with many great film directors, including: Steven Spielberg, Francis Coppola, John Frankenheimer, Nike Nichols, and Spike Lee. His television credits include: “CSI,” “Six Feet Under,” “cold Case,” “24,” and most recently “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Desperate Housewives,” and the upcoming “State of Mind.”

JACK STEHLIN (Artistic Director)

Jack founded Circus Theatricals in New York in 1983, and has produced over 40 plays in NYC and Los Angeles. An award-winning actor, Jack has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, and stages around the world. Jack is an alumnus of John Houseman's The Acting Company and a graduate of the Juilliard School. Most recently, he as seen on stage in the Circus Theatricals production of Complexity, and the Los Angeles premiere of Salome with Al Pacino, directed by Estelle Parsons.

As an actor, his Circus Theatricals productions include The Misanthrope, The Circle , Macbeth, Hamlet, Richard III, Tartuffe, True West, The Cheats of Scapin, The Job. Other Los Angeles Theatre:Speed-the-Plow (Los Angeles premiere), and Habitation of Dragons (Zephyr). His extensive notable New York credits include Richard II (dir. Steven Berkoff), Henry V (w/Kevin Kline), Casanova (w/ Ethan Hawke, dir. by Michael Greif), Henry IV, I (w/Mandy Patinkin, dir by Des McAnuff), Julius Caesar (w/ Al Pacino and Martin Sheen),Timon of Athens (dir. by Brian Kulick), Richard Foreman’s Don Juan, and Romeo and Juliet (dir. by Les Waters).
