Robert Cicchini	ROBERT CICCHINI (Graylin James) Circus Theatricals Associate Artist. Member since 1987. Numerous Circus Theatricals productions include performances in Three Sisters, Hedda Gabler, Tartuffe, Modigliani, the Circle, Twelfth Night, The Job (Garland Award for Acting). As Director: The Lower Depths, The Maids, Antigone (Anouilh’s). Robert has over 100 credits in film, Television and the theatre. Recent films include: “War of the Worlds,” “Mrs. Harris,” and the upcoming “Dream Girls.” He has worked with many great film directors, including: Steven Spielberg, Francis Coppola, John Frankenheimer, Nike Nichols, and Spike Lee. His television credits include: “CSI,” “Six Feet Under,” “cold Case,” “24,” and most recently “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Desperate Housewives,” and the upcoming “State of Mind.” He is an alumnus of the graduate acting program at N.Y.U.
Christopher Curry	CHRISTOPHER CURRY (Dave G.). This is Christopher’s third appearance in a play by Shem Bitterman (the other two: Peephole and Two Churches) and third play with Steven Zuckerman. Broadway productions include All My Sons (dir. Arvin Brown) and The Crucifer of Blood (also at the Ahmanson). Original Off-Broadway productions include: The Foreigner, Kennedy at Colonus (dir.Steve Zuckerman), Strange Snow, Life Class, The Promise, and When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder? Stephanie Erb	STEPHANIE ERB (Jean) Stephanie’s theatre credits include work with John Houseman’s Acting Company, Arena Stage, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, the LA, Utah and Dallas Shakespeare Festivals, and The Cleveland Playhouse. In Los Angeles, she has been seen performing with The Actor’s Gang (LA Weekly Award for “MMC”), Interact Theatre Company, La Mirada, Shakespeare LA, and the Mark Taper Forum/Taper Too. Favorite roles: Juliet, Rita in Prelude to a Kiss Beatrice in Much Ado, and Elvira in Blithe Spirit. TV credits include recurring roles on “24,” “Freaks and Geeks,” “Ellen,” and various pilots, as well as guest spots on “Monk,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “House,” “Two and a Half Men,” “The District,” “Six Feet Under,” “American Dreams,” “ER,” “NYPD Blue,” “Will and Grace,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “News Radio,” “Star Trek,” and others. Britt Napier	BRITT NAPIER (Laura G.) During her 4 year stay at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where she received a BBA in Business Administration and BA in Theater Studies, Britt worked on over 17 different shows as an actor, producer, production manager and director for several independent theater companies including Starving Artist Productions, FUtility, Out of Hand Theater and Theater Emory. Past credits include Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Spike Heels, Three Sisters, and the critically acclaimed 30 Below. After relocating to Los Angeles Britt founded PIC Pictures LLC, where she co wrote, produced and stars in the film “Redirect.” Britt is an ongoing student at Playhouse West. Thanks goes out to the cast and crew for making this a truly wonderful experience.

Derrick McDaniel	DERRICK MCDANIEL (Lights) With Circus Theatricals: Complexity, Greensward The Misanthrope and Iphigenia in Aulis. Derrick began his acting apprenticeship in 1990 at Theater East in Studio City, CA. This is where he honed the craft of stage lighting. A few of his lighting credits include “The Godfather Workout” for the HBO comedy festival in Aspen; “The Quiet Room” at the Whitefire Theater, “Worse Than Murder” at the Ventura Court Theater, and “Eubie Weller” at the Stella Adler Theater; “Among The Thugs” at the Odyssey Theater- and many others. Derrick was nominated for a 2004 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle award for lighting, in “Among The Thugs”, as well as, a 2005 ADA lighting nomination. He has earned critical acclaim, many times over, for his designs. Derrick would like to thank you for your support of live theater. Enjoy.
Leah Roobini	LEAH ROOBINI (Stage Manager) Stage manager for Circus Theatricals productions Sister Cities, Iphigenia in Aulis, The Circle, 7th Annual Festival of One Act Plays. Other stage management: Lobby Hero, Things We Do for Love, Among the Thugs (winner of LA Weekly and Drama Critic’s Circle Awards) Because I Said So, Communicating Doors (Odyssey Theatre), Summon Me Awake/Yo Despierta, and Dark of the Moon. Other credits: Criminal Hearts, Oliver, and Into the Woods. She currently attends USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
Elise Robertson	ELISE ROBERTSON (Assistant Director) Elise Robertson is an Emmy and Cine-Golden Eagle award winning director, whose TV credits include F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Sensible Thing” and Ralph Ellison’s “King of the Bingo Game) and scenes from Ralph Ellison’s novel “Invisible Man” for PBS. She has directed a number of projects for Circus Theatricals, including Sister Cities, Ellipses, What Went Wrong With the King and Queen of America, and Max (which she also wrote). Also an actor, selected stage credits include: The Three Sisters; Betrayal; Ourselves, Alone; The Seagull; Oleanna. TV/Film credits include: “6 Feet Under,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Good Humor Man,” “Two and a Half Men.” Elise is a member of the Circus Theatricals Studio Ensemble and co-founder of the Crash Box Players in Los Angeles.
Shem Bitterman	SHEM BITTERMAN (Playwright) With Circus Theatricals: The Job which won the LA Drama Critic’s Circle Award for Best New Play, transferred to off-Broadway and was published by Samuel French and Smith & Kraus, The Circle, LA Weekly nominee for Best Leading Male Performance, Best Supporting Male Performance, a 2005 Pen/West Finalist. Man.Gov is his 20th produced play. Other writing credits include: Sensitive Skin (The Elephant Asylum/dir. David Fofi), Ten Below (WPA/with Kevin Conway and Anthony Edwards, winner of the National Play Award); Peephole (Geva, winner of the Davie Award); Night-Side,(Actor’s Theatre of Louisville w/Pamela Gien); The Ramp(South Coast Rep, winner of the California Playwright’s Competition); Beijing Legends (Pacific Jewish Theatre winner of the Fund For New American Plays); Self Storage (Odyssey); and Iowa Boys (The Actor’s Studio, winner of the CBS/FDG New Plays Award). Produced films include: “Lenexa,” “1 Mile,” starring Paul Wesley, Jason Ritter, Chris Klein and William Baldwin; “Peephole,” directed by Shem; “Out Of The Rain” starring Bridget Fonda and directed by Gary Winick; “Off The Lip” starring Marguerite Moreau; “Tinsletown” starring Joe Pantoliano and Ron Perlman; and “Open House,” starring Jason Wiles. Shem has developed and acted in plays at The Mark Taper Forum, Sundance, the Midwest Playlabs and Steppenwolf and has written films for Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Disney and many independent film companies. He has taught screenwriting, playwriting and acting in the California Prisons and in Beijing, China. Shem studied acting at New York’s High School of Performing Arts and Julliard and got an M.F.A. in playwriting from The University of Iowa.
Steve Zuckerman	STEVE ZUCKERMAN (Director) Steve Zuckerman directed Nuts by Tom Topor on Broadway which received two Tony nominations and a Drama Desk Award. As Associate Director of New York’s WPA theater he directed many productions including the premieres of Nuts , Steve Metcalf’s The Incredibly Famous Willy Rivers, Shem Bitterman’s Ten Below and Israel Horovitz’s Unexpected Tenderness and North Shore Fish. His collaboration with Mr. Horovitz also resulted in the premieres of Today I am a Fountain Pen , A Rosen By Any Other Name and The Chopin Playoffs. He directed a filmed version of North Shore Fish for Showtime which starred Mercedes Ruehl, Peter Riegert and Tony Danza. Revivals of Tennessee Williams Vieux Carre and Ibsen’s When We Dead Awaken with Kim Hunter received Drama Desk Awards. He has been Director of Play Development at The Circle in the Square Theatre and Artistic Director of the Impossible Ragtime Theatre in New York and the Sharon Playhouse. He has directed at the Manhattan Theater Club, Circle Rep and many regional theatres including Baltimore’s Center Stage, The La Jolla Playhouse and the Yale Rep. Mr. Zuckerman was trained at the University of Michigan and the Yale School of Drama. In addition to his long theater career, Mr. Zuckerman has directed over 350 episodes of prime time television including such shows as “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “The Drew Carey Show,” “Friends,” “Murphy Brown” for which he recieved an Humanitas Award, and “Empty Nest.”
Jeannine Stehlin	JEANNINE STEHLIN (Managing Director) Produced over 40 plays for Circus Theatricals, including Sister Cities, Greensward, Complexity, phigenia in Aulis, The Misanthrope, Macbeth, Tartuffe, The Cherry Orchard, Richard III, Hamlet and The Cheats of Scapin, (Odyssey Theatre/Circus Theatricals co-productions) The Circle and the award-winning The Job by Shem Bitterman (LA and Off-Broadway). Sound design credits include Circus Theatricals 7th Annual Festival of One Act Plays (now playing), and The Circle (LA Weekly "Best Sound Design" nomination). Her long list of acting credits include Macbeth, Twelfth Night, The Job, Peer Gynt, Tartuffe, The Misanthrope, Hippolytus, The Stronger, The Art of Success, Women and Wallace and the films, “Watch It,” and “Rancho Cucamonga." Jeannine made her television debut as a child on the popular children's program, "Romper Room" in Pittsburgh. Jeannine holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Jack Stehlin	JACK STEHLIN (Artistic Director) Jack founded Circus Theatricals in New York in 1983, and has produced over 40 plays in NYC and Los Angeles. An award-winning actor, Jack has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, and stages around the world. Jack is an alumnus of John Houseman's The Acting Company and a graduate of the Juilliard School. Most recently, he as seen on stage in the Circus Theatricals production of Complexity, and the Los Angeles premiere of Salome with Al Pacino, directed by Estelle Parsons. As an actor, his Circus Theatricals productions include The Misanthrope, The Circle , Macbeth, Hamlet, Richard III, Tartuffe, True West, The Cheats of Scapin, The Job. Other Los Angeles Theatre:Speed-the-Plow (Los Angeles premiere), and Habitation of Dragons (Zephyr). His extensive notable New York credits include Richard II (dir.
