Justice have often said they don't listen to dance music and prefer and draw their inspiration from rock 'n' roll. That seems to have crossed (excuse the pun) over from their music to their lifestyle, because they've definitely taken a page or two from the rock 'n' roll book on A Cross The Universe. Midway through the documentary, Xavier De Rosnay says, "I've been trying to replay in my head what we've already filmed. I'm a little worried." The sheer insanity and debauchery in this film are pure rock star. You'll see includes romps with random girls, Gaspard Auge's drunken Las Vegas wedding, a bus driver who sounds like the evangelical Christian version of the narrator from The Big Lebowski, cameos from Kanye West and Anthony Kiedis, a tour manager with a gun obsession and three different arrests (one of which is because of the gun). Auge comments about how he thinks the ridiculously decadent hotel room he's staying in just can't be real. By the end of this DVD, you'll likely be telling yourself the same thing while wondering how the insanity you just witnessed was caught on camera.
