We step blindly onto this sacred terrain called maganda. We take a deep breath and guide our beautiful people, armed with only a collective imagination, a common hunger to learn, a shared hope for this endeavor. We hear the beat of 12 passionate hearts in the depths of the past… yet we journey on towards a new beginning, knowing our own melodic sound must be added to the legendary rhythm.

Now we stand at the threshold of a new day and look back at the past struggles and hardships of those before us. We see their visions, we breathe their lives, we feel their rhythm - they are the ones who gave us a beginning to which there is no end. Because of them, we continue on into a new century for our people. We are learning. We are succeeding. We are leading.
In the continuation of this legacy, issue 13 is born…taking its first glance at a promising new sunrise…
