For the effective utilization of the facilities after the games conclude, we are cooperating with the city of Busan by considering not only hosting various International and national sports events as well as culture and art exhibits, but also opening the facilities to local residents for local leisure and sports activities.
We have amended the related article of the 'City Planning Facility Standard' to profits to be made from these venues to help support the management expenses of various science, cultural, and education facilities. So we are trying to diversify the use of the newly built Asian Games facilities for other purposes, such as leisure, education, and art and cultural exhibitions.
We are going to develop them into a multiple use complex that the people can use any time, by doing that, we will be doing our best to make the best use of the facilities after the sports event is finished.
