Yes, this is what happens when the law of value and the 2nd Law of TD
get together.

But the drilling at ANWR and all the other shit in the Energy Bill don't
promise to net any significant increase in energy production over the
long haul, just a blip actually.  This bill is even talking about
subsidizing additional nuke power plants, which at the end of the day is
the most expensive energy we use (subsidized through Price-Anderson).
The Energy Bill is not about energy.  It's a vote buying scam - sort of
an extension of one of the most successful vote-buying scams in US
history, ethanol (a direct subsidy to ADM et al) in exchange for massive
monetary support for political campaigns and bourgeois think tanks.

Parasite politics, engineered by incompetent gangsters.  The terrifying
thing is that these whack-jobs are seriously embarked now on mini-nuke
proponency in order to destroy DPRK.  The idea that GWB is the commander
in chief of the US nuclear arsenal is about as sobering, and surreal, as
it gets.
