The main peak oil list is this one:

It's been running for so long now that there is a certain
groupthink there that is rather pervasive and somewhat
stifling since much of the real debate has already
happened, nevertheless it is pretty much the day-to-day
eye of the entire peak oil storm on the Internet.
This one just started in the past few days
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freespeechdieoff/
and it will probably be a bit more adversarial in
nature for folks who want to actually debate the
issues rather than sit at the feet of the gurus and
be enlightened about how hopeless everything is :-)
At least this list has had a very impressive start the
past few days.
