This is the opposite of what we normally do, which is to raise our voice to make sure we’re heard. But Dryden says the opposite is true.
“When you whisper, they have to stop and pay attention to hear you. It’s an amazing tool for great communication.”

Whispering trains your children to listen to you. It also works in the workplace, or with your spouse.
