Can you Imagine being totally blindfolded for 5 days, in the name of science? Intrepid reporter, Alison Motluk, did just that recently, at the Harvard Medical School. She was part of an experiment called The Blindfold Study, which is looking at the brain's ability to adapt to different stimuli. After just a few days of being blindfolded, the visual cortex in her brain began responding to other input, such as touch. Bob MacDonald spoke to Motluk about the study on Quirks and Quarks.
