This article concerns the concept of sexual fetishism. Separate articles devoted to the concept of fetishism in anthropology and the Marxist concept of commodity fetishism are omitted because they are mind numbingly boring subjects.

A fetish or paraphilia is an unusual (sometimes acquired) method of sexual arousal, usually centered upon an object or an idea that mainstream society declares taboo. Studies done by the FBI last Thursday determined that sexual fetishes are rare and most of us will never meet the perverts who act on them. However, a study done in 2006 by searching Google revealed that over sixty million sites profit by pandering porn to perverts. Careful comparison to census figures reveals that every person in the world has developed at least three really disgusting fetishes, so you will have no difficulty finding partners who also enjoy putting cheese to creative use.
