Toledo Catholic Diocese to shut 2 central-city grade schools this year
The Catholic Diocese of Toledo announced yesterday it will close two elementary schools at the end of the school year, affecting 314 students and 82 staff members. St. Charles, 1850 Airport Hwy., and Pope John Paul II, 3217 Warsaw St., will close in June, leaving two Catholic elementary schools in the Central City Ministries of Toledo.
