Everyone’s favorite nanny is looking to take her famous Queens accent to a new home – the U.S. Senate, that is. Fran Drescher tells People she's offering up her name as a replacement for Senator Hillary Clinton, who has been nominated as Secretary of State. New York Gov. David Paterson must find an interim to fill the remaining two years of Clinton's term. "I'm a New Yorker. It's a part of the fabric of my being," says Drescher, 51. "It just seems natural to me to throw my hat in the ring." The ex-star of The Nanny isn't a political neophyte.

Britney Spears' Circus Act Tops the Charts

Britney Spears is back at No. 1. For the first time in more than five years, Britney topped the Billboard 200. Her new album Circus sold more than half a million copies for the week ended Sunday. This gives Spears the second biggest female bow of the year, topping debut weeks by Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Janet Jackson and Beyoncé and only trailing Taylor Swift. Jennifer Hudson Heads Back to Work

Jennifer Hudson is heading back to work next week, after a hiatus following her recent family tragedy.

She is expected to start filming a video for her single, "If This Isn't Love," the AP says. Hudson was due to begin shooting the video earlier this fall, when her mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their Chicago home on October 24.
