Heads BBC Vision, overseeing the service controllers, genre commissioning, in-house production and operations teams for BBC ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, CBBC, CBeebies, the UKTV channels and BBC America.
Jana also represents BBC Vision's interests on the BBC Executive Committee.

The genre controllers manage the genre teams that commission video content and deliver the programme slate across all platforms/services.
In each team, Multiplatform Executives support the Genre Commissioners, providing expert advice on multiplatform content, including the editorial and technical implications of projects.

The Controller of Multi-Platform & Portfolio develops and executes BBC Vision's multi-platform strategy across both the linear channels and new services.
The Controller of Daytime is responsible for setting the long term strategy and vision for the Daytime services on BBC ONE and BBC TWO (Weekdays BBC ONE 0900 to 1530 and 1900 to 1930, BBC TWO 1530 to 1900, Saturday BBC TWO 0600 to 1730, Sunday BBC ONE 0600 to 1300 BBC TWO 1115 to 1330)
Controller BBC Children's leads the in-house children's production division as well as the commissioning process for children's programmes on all the BBC's channels (including CBeebies and CBBC)

This role is to ensure that the commissioning process works fairly and effectively and that the operation of the WoCC between independents and inhouse is fair and transparent.

Independents Executive |
|
Krishan Arora manages the relationship between the BBC and the independent production sector.
As Independents Executive he doesn't commission, but helps to build the relationship between the independent sector and the BBC to make the process more straightforward and productive.
