Setting up
Sybergen Management Server is a snap.
Using Automatic Client Recognition, the server will locate
all machines running Sybergen Secure Desktop on your network, and
implement your pre-defined security policies on those machines.
Pre-configured Sybergen Secure Desktop clients can easily
be deployed via standard software distribution tools.
Security policy can be set globally, by user group, or by
individual client machine.
Also, Sybergen Management Server can be configured to allow
all or part of a given security profile to be client-controlled—giving
you the ultimate in control flexibility.
In the event
that there is a security breech on a client running Sybergen Secure
Desktop, the server will gather all intrusion information and take
appropriate action as defined by the network administrator.
For example, Sybergen Management Server can configure Sybergen
Secure Desktop™ clients to send out an e-mail notification when
port scanning or hacking is detected.
Detailed security logs will be stored in a database for further
review.
Easy
Server Set-up and Administration:
Getting
up and running is a breeze with Sybergen Management Server’s Intuitive
Web-based interface. You
can create multiple IT administration accounts with different privileges
(administrative, provisioning or monitoring rights), and multi-console
support will allow many IT Personnel to administer the server concurrently.
Centralized
Network Policy Provisioning:
Now, you can ensure a
consistent security policy across your network.
Sybergen Management Server automatically detects and sets
policies on Sybergen Secure Desktop clients in your network. Security policies can be set globally, at a group level, or
individually. These
flexible policies allow administrators to set the level of client
control (e.g., privileged users can control their own security level,
trusted applications, etc.).
New Sybergen Secure Desktop Clients can easily be added and
configured through the web interface.
Centralized
Monitoring:
Sybergen Management Server
lets you rest easy knowing that your entire organization is safe
by giving you a bird’s eye view of network security, regardless
of where your clients reside.
Monitoring for intrusion attempts on telecommuters and remote
workers is easy with Sybergen Management Server’s advanced grouping
features—you can view all clients based on hostname, IP address,
MAC, security policy group, and version of Sybergen Secure Desktop.
Consolidated
Logging:
Sybergen Management Server
retains all access, security policy, and intrusion logs for Sybergen
Secure Desktop clients on the network.
This information is stored in a database, allowing for easy
back up of critical security data.
Customized
Reporting and Analysis:
Management Server puts
concise security reports at your fingertips.
You can create security threat reports based on type, origin,
direction, and local port for a single client, a group of clients,
or the entire network. Administrators can view a graphical representation
of the data with Sybergen Management Server’s built-in charting
feature. From this
data, an IT staff can efficiently identify and fix weaknesses in
their corporate security framework.
