Re: Question #4

My closest friends were all girls until about 11 years old; since then they
have all been boys (now men). I was married, am divorced, and since my
divorce and coming out I have no women friends at all, other than very
casual acquainances at work. I don't relate to straight men and just
haven't felt close enough to any woman to share my life (come out). So--I
am most comfortable with 1) gay men; 2) women; 3) straight men (actually not
comfortable at all); and I am really only on friendship terms with gay men
(and not too many of them--a few good friends; the rest, really just
acquaintances). In answer to Question #3 (since I haven't answered it yet):
I would never want to be a woman--I like my male body too much and wouldn't
want to have to deal with the physical hassles, like menstruation and
breasts; besides all the social/power issues. But I have found "drag" on
Halloween a few times exciting and fun; but that's really the whole
"feminine mystique" which really is so sexual and not really real "woman"
stuff, as far as I am concerned personally.
