Political correctness is tyranny

"Political correctness is tyranny, and gay-PC is the most tyrannical of =
all.  It is my personal belief that we as a group do more to perpetuate =
anti-gay sentiments than all our nominal enemies combined, because we =
embrace the rights of a few obviously demented attention-seekers to =
elect themselves as our representatives and present us to the world as a =
bunch of compulsive deviates.  The people who march in Pride Parades =
with bare chests criss-crossed with leather straps and the ones who meet =
the President of the United States in dungeon drag do us more harm than =
all the efforts of the religious right."

Dear Personal Belief,

Coming across your intellectual treaty, if I may say so, I am sure that you
know that political correctness was coined by the right wings to put down any
attempt to redress the issue of inequality in America. There is nothing
"politically correct" about our society which is a white heterosexual male
dominated world.  It is simply correct, judgement aside.  There is nothing
"politically correct" about the language borne out of this WHMDW which
continues to disregard the role and contribution of women.  It is simply
correct.  And there is nothing "politically correct" about sensitivity and
awareness of others’ differences which you are full of it.  

Those so-called "demented attention seekers", "compulsive deviates" have
certainly no rights to come out of the closet at their personal costs to
fight for your rights and mine to enjoy the things that we do in the dark
hole of our existence. We don’t need the kind in-your-face to tell our
family, our friends, our neighbors, our co-workers that we are gay and proud.
As long as we don’t advertise our sexuality, we don’t bother any body, and
nobody will bother us, right?  They should have retired after Stonewall,
after Gay Liberation, after their historical struggles so that we, as the
silent majority, straight-acting and all, can enjoy.  (No small thanks to
them), we are now empowered to fight the religious rights by going to the
pole to vote, right? 

Those who "march in Pride Parades with bare chests criss-crossed with leather
straps", and who "meet the President of the United States in dungeon drag"
have no rights to elect themselves as our representatives even though we are
too busy with our jobs, our depressing love lives to participate in parades
and political processes.  Besides, the constitution guarantees equal rights
for all men, isn’t it obvious? If we dress normal (oops! those
two-size-too-small  jeans that we like so much since they show our best
feature have to go), act normal (oops! there is no oops), talk normal (oops!
remember that a normal man says "I like" not "I love"), eat normal (oops!
finger down, down finger, down) , marry normal (oops!  gay marriage may not
be a good idea), serve in the military normally (oops!  gay in the military
may not be a good idea), have normal sex (oops! gay sex may not be a good
idea), sire children normally (oops! gay and children may not be a good
idea),…..people will see us as normal and accept us, right? 

As for the comments about some women’s behavior at the HIV/AIDS workshop,
have you ever considered that the lengthy verbiage is maybe due to the fact
that the writer wants to express himself in the long, long, very long way
instead of stating that he was simply offended?  Or have you ever considered
that maybe he was not trying to be "political correct" but has some other
issue of the women and indirectly drag on the opportunity?
