INSIGHT PLUS

Sequoia’s newest Optical Scan system combines the reliability and simplicity of paper ballot voting with advanced security and tabulation features to ensure rapid and accurate results.

Votes are cast by connecting arrows on a paper ballot. Upon completion, the voter inserts the ballot into the Insight Plus, which quickly reads, verifies and drops the ballot into the secured ballot box.

The Insight Plus features an optical LCD display to notify voters of incomplete ballots or other conditions and assists pollworkers with clear, bilingual instructions. Election results are stored in three places to ensure the highest level of accuracy and security.

The Insight Plus carries on the in the Sequoia tradition of rugged precinct tabulators that handle the bumps and bruises of transport and heavy use.
