Daniela plays Little Prince in John Cameron

If you're missing Sarah Shahi you can catch a glimpse of her in the new Christopher Guest film For Your Consideration. Jane Lynch also appears in this film.

 

MIA TO PLAY PSYCHOLOGIST
Mia stars in this new TV film called "They Come Back" in which she plays a psychologist whose 10yr old patient claims she's being menaced by unseen forces after her parents were killed in a car accident. It airs 8pm, Mar 3 on Lifetime.
 

CATCH LAUREN IN THE LAST KISS
Lauren Lee Smith plays the wife of Casey Affleck in the new Tony Goldwyn film The Last Kiss, which is a contemporary comedy-drama about life, love, infidelity, forgiveness, marriage, friendship…& coming to grips with turning 30.
 


KRISTANNA LOKEN JUMPS ABOARD
Out actress Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3) will appear in 10 episodes of S4. Loken will play a single mom who meets Shane at a PTA meeting, reports Daily Variety.

 


JANINA GAVANKAR SET TO SHAKE S4     

Gavankar joins S4 as Papi, a smokin hot Latino who challenges Shane. Unlike Shane, Papi is competitive, loud, bossy & boastful. She canoodles with everyone & competes w/Shane.

 


CYBILL SHEPHERD JOINING THE CAST     
Shepherd will appear in 11 episodes, starring as an Executive Vice Chancellor of the fictional California University & boss to Bette -- a married mother who begins to question her sexuality.
 


MIA SHINES AS DOOMED ACTRESS
Mia Kirshner plays Elizabeth Short in a true story of a wannabe actress, who was horrifically mutilated and murdered in LA in 1947 in the film The Black Dahlia. Catch it at cinemas now.
 

MARLEE MATLIN JOINING THE CAST     
The 40-year-old actress will play “a fiery artist who catches the attention of Jennifer Beals’ character, Bette Porter,” it was announced by Showtime.

Some upcoming guests for S3 include Tegan & Sara, Sleater-Kinney, Bif Naked, Alan Cumming as Billie Blaikie, The Planets new manager and Keram Malicki-Sanchez as Chase who runs a skateboard shop in Venice.
 


JENNIFER BEALS IN NEW DETECTIVE FILM
"Troubled Waters" is a thriller in which a determined detective (Beals) is called on to investigate the suspicious kidnapping of a rich man's daughter. The picture is being released by Archetype Films. Filming has already begun.
 


LEISHA HAILEY BRANCHING OUT?
It seems Leisha has delved into world of the documentary, executive producing the new LOGO series Raising Teens all about what its like for gay couples to raise teenagers.

 


Can we handle more EZ in Season 3?
We have been told that Elizabeth Ziff, musical composer for Season 2, is diversifying next season. She has joined the writing team for Season 3 and has written episode 306 "Lone Star". We don't know if she's written any more as yet.
 


Kate Moennig set to take on 2 new films
Dead Girl’s Diary is about Sara who likes picking up homeless men. One of the men leaves a diary lying about that is picked up by Sara's friends, Chloe (Moennig) and Maddy. Also catch her in Art School Confidential which will be released 28 April, 2006.
 


Can Lois Lane talk some sense into Jenny?
Reports from a recent convention tell us that Margot Kidder, best known for her role as Lois Lane in the Superman movies, will be playing the part of Jenny's mother, Sandy Ziskin, in Season 3. It is unknown how many episodes she will appear in as yet.
 


Alexandra Hedison signed on for 10 eps
Alexandra Hedison has signed on to appear in 10 episodes in S3. She has been cast as Dylan Moreland. Dylan is introduced as a documentary filmmaker and a potential love interest for Helena.
 


Jennifer Beals' Indie Film
Desolation Sound is a murder mystery about a woman who discovers that her best friend (Beals) is sleeping with her husband. The low-budget indie will play on The Lifetime Channel before the film festival circuit and opening in Canada later this year.
 

Sarah Shahi to appear in new WB show? Sarah states in the current issue of Maxim that she is working on the new WB pilot Supernatural, which is described as Route 66 meets The X-Files. No word yet as to the extent of her role. Also catch Sarah in a bit part in the new Ashton Kutcher film A lot like love.

Eric Lively cast in new WB show
Eric has been cast as one of the leads in the new WB show Evolution of Man, which revolves around friends in their 20s who seek the advice of a female life coach. Eric is also slated to appear in the film The Breed which should be out sometime in 2006.
 

Disney signs Angela Robinson L Word writer Angela Robinson has been signed by Disney to a 2yr first look deal. The pact will cover her services as writer, producer, & director. Also her film Herbie: Fully Loaded opens June 24, and the next season of The L Word will feature an episode directed by her as well.
