The surviving members of the Grateful Dead will hit the road as The Dead this spring for the first time in five years, and have unveiled plans for a month-long tour.
On-sales get underway Saturday (1/24) for shows in Greensboro, NC; Washington, DC; Worcester, MA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; Philadelphia (via ComcastTix.com); Uniondale, NY; New York City; Albany and Buffalo, NY (via Tickets.com); Hartford, CT; East Rutherford, NJ; Rosemont, IL; Denver, CO; and the Los Angeles area, while tickets for the group's stop in Mountain View, CA (via Live Nation) go on sale Sunday (1/25).

The Dave Matthews Band will issue its first new studio album in four years on April 14, and will launch a tour the same day.

Elton John and Billy Joel have added a few new dates to their upcoming "Face 2 Face" tour, which launches in early spring and is expected to run for parts of the next two years.
Tickets roll out Saturday (1/24) for stops in St. Paul, MN; Nashville; and Toronto.

New Kids on the Block continue their reunion plans into 2009 with a fresh slate of headlining shows behind the group's first studio album in 15 years, "The Block."
Tickets hit the market Friday (1/23) for shows in Niagara Falls, NY; London, Ontario (via John Labatt Centre); Kanata, Ontario (via CapitalTickets.ca); and Manchester NH. The Killers have announced a second leg of dates for their current tour in support of the band's latest opus, "Day & Age," which surfaced last fall.
