Version 2.3 |
|
Address Quick is a quick and easy to use program which will keep your addresses close and handy. It lets you copy and paste addresses to and from it, will dial phone numbers (making a voice connection, if you have a voice capable modem), prints envelopes and labels, has a place in each address for email and home page information, and will even send email (launching your default email program) and browse an address entry’s internet url (using your default browser). Version 2.3 adds a new look, with flat toolbars and tooltip text, and WYSIWYG printing for both envelopes and labels. You can choose the font for envelopes and labels, and see how the layout will look before you print.

Address Quick displays one address at a time in a read-only edit box. You can copy to the clipboard directly from this edit box. You can use the Next and Previous buttons to move through the addresses one at a time, or search
for any part of any address using the Find and Find Next buttons. Address Quick’s dialer program is simple,
but overcomes the annoying problem of some dialers, which refuse to dial an area code different
from your own without putting a "1" in front of it. Address Quick will dial whatever you store in an address phone number entry,
or type into the dialer dialog edit box.
To send email to the displayed address, you need only click the "Send email" button. Likewise, the "Browse url"
button will open the url of the displayed address with your browser.
The shareware version of Address Quick has a nag screen, once a day. There are
no other nags, and the program is fully functional, but will only run for 30 days. For just $10 you can register Address Quick, and
receive the code which removes the nag and keeps the program running, by email.
