Maplins is selling a DVD+RW drive for £29.99. The drive burns DVD+R at 4x, DVD+RW at 2.4x, CDR at 40x and CDRW at 16x. The speed of the burn is not fantastic as 8x is the norm and also DVD+R drives are the minority as opposed to the more common DVD-R (the pros and cons I'll leave for others to argue about). However, the price is cheap so if you just need a cheap DVD burner this may be for you.
