"Vilborg Davídsdóttir's text is beautiful and lively and she easily develops the darkness that loomed over the nation in these dreary times of bad seasons and human severity. She is a good writer and creates truthful atmosphere and circumstances. ... the main strength is the joy in the storytelling and the excellently created atmosphere that Vilborg puts forth with her easy but extraordinary beautiful writing style."
