Ordering Information
All works may be rented or purchased for screening or exhibitions, unless otherwise noted. They may be purchased
for archival use by museums, or for educational use by educational institutions. Orders may be placed directly
online, by filling out the appropriate order form (see below), or by mailing or faxing an institutional purchase
order (US educational institutions only). Please note that we do not accept phone orders.
Works are available for screening and exhibition on DVD, DVCam and Beta
SP. For other formats please contact EAI
Distribution. Works may be purchased on Beta SP and Digital
Betacam for archival use with exhibition rights. Works may be rented on
VHS and DVD or purchased on these formats for educational use by educational
institutions. Specific terms and restrictions may apply.
The EAI License Agreements give in-house public performance rights, archival rights, or the right to the educational
use of EAI titles. The license agreement appropriate to your order is attached to your specific Order Form and must
be signed for your order to be proceed. Payment must be received in advance before materials can be shipped.
Online Ordering
You may place an educational or screening rental order directly online
through our secure server. Begin by clicking on the appropriate title
in the EAI Online Catalogue. Then click on the word Order
under the description of the work. You will be directed through the ordering
process. Once you have submitted your order online, you will receive a
confirmation via e-mail. For exhibition and archival purchase inquiries,
please contact EAI Distribution.
Rentals
Most works are available for rental for screenings or exhibitions on VHS,
DVD NTSC, DVCam and Beta SP formats. Please contact EAI
Distribution about other formats. Rentals must have a scheduled
screening date or exhibition dates. In some cases rental fees may be credited
towards a subsequent purchase.
Tours
For exhibitions or screenings that are touring to other venues, a separate rental fee must be paid for each venue.
Exhibition and payment details for all venues must be negotiated at the time of the first exhibition.
DVD PAL
We do not usually provide DVD PAL because of quality concerns. If you are unable to play any other format we
may be able to have a DVD PAL specially made. There may be added technical costs and extra lead time may be needed.
Returning Works
Works must be returned immediately after the scheduled screening or exhibition date, postmarked the next business
day. Late fees of $5.00 per day apply. Do not return works in fiber-filled packages, as they can open and damage
tapes. You are liable for any damage to works.
You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Return works via United Parcel Service, U.S. Mail First Class, or
Parcel Post prepaid and insure to the value of $50 per work. Please note on all shipping documents that insured value
is the replacement value; there is no commercial value. International return shipments should be labeled
"Videocassettes (or DVDs) enclosed, do not x-ray."

Previews
Previews are made available on a limited basis for 30 days to institutions within the United States for purchase consideration
only. There is a non-refundable fee of $20 per title plus shipping. Please contact EAI Distribution.
Fees
Fees are determined by the duration of the work, format and usage. Most fee information can be accessed by clicking the Fee
button at the bottom of each work’s title page. For broadcasts, or other special requests, please contact EAI Distribution.
When to Order
Standard turnaround
Requests from within the United States must be received three weeks before the screening date. International orders must
be received five weeks before the screening date. This time is needed because:
• All tapes and DVDs are produced to order, and some may need to be produced out-of-house at a facilities
company
• Bank transfers can take up to two weeks to be transacted
• Shipments can be delayed by courier companies or held up in customs.
Rush Orders
If we are given less notice than our standard times we will need to ascertain whether we can adjust our dubbing
schedule to accommodate your order. Please contact EAI Distribution before placing a rush order.
• A rush charge of $15 per work applies to domestic
(within the USA) orders placed less than three weeks in advance, and international
orders placed less than five weeks in advance
• Rush charges double to at least $30 per work
for domestic orders placed within 5 business days, or international orders
placed within 2 weeks
Notice of cancellation must be received by us ten days prior to screening date or you will be billed for the full order.
For further assistance in ordering please contact our distribution staff and they will be happy to provide guidance.
Payment
Payment must be made in full before materials can be shipped. The only exception is when a US-based educational
institution provides an official order with an order number for an educational rental or purchase.
United States
Orders within the United States must be prepaid by check, money order or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express.)
If paying by credit card please make sure that the card is able to cover the invoiced amount. Orders accompanied by an
educational institutional purchase order are payable upon receipt.
International
All orders from outside of the United States (including Canada) must be prepaid in advance of shipment. Payment must
be made in US dollars only. A $20 administrative fee is added to all international orders. After EAI receives an order, an
invoice will be sent to you for pre-payment.
Please send checks drawn on a US bank or money orders to the Electronic
Arts Intermix office. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express
credit cards. Transfer information will be sent with your invoice. EAI's
invoice number must be noted on the transfer receipt to ensure proper
billing credit. After you make a bank transaction, please fax a copy to
us. This will avoid delays, as it takes several days for the bank to reflect
your transferred funds.
Shipping/Handling
We do not send materials via mail. You can provide your shipping account number, or we can you charge for shipping via
Fedex:
• We will charge a shipping fee of $7.50 per work
for domestic orders
• International shipping charges are determined by weight and the
service used, according to Federal Express's current rates
International shipping arrangements must be determined upon confirmation of your order. You are responsible for all
additional shipping costs, such as air-freight and customs charges for international orders, and rush-shipping charges
for late orders.

Additional Information
Broadcast/Cablecast
Many of the works in EAI's collection are available for broadcast and cablecast. All broadcast and cablecast rights
are reserved. Contact EAI for terms, fees and licensing information.
Image Requests
Images are available as video stills, which are provided as digital files (jpeg), for Macs or PCs. Please direct
image inquiries by email. You will be asked to sign and return an Image Agreement before we can proceed with your request.
There is a 5-10 business day turn around for requests, so please contact us well in advance of your print deadline.
Larger orders should be requested with at least a four week lead time.
EAI captures video stills directly from the works. As such, the video stills share the resolution of video, which is 72 DPI.
Video is by nature a low-resolution medium and all video stills will share the low-resolution characteristics intrinsic to
the medium. Please note that your designer will have to resize images to 300 DPI for use in print publications.
Paid Admissions
If you exhibit EAI's works for a paid admission screening, the standard rental rate is charged as a guarantee against 50% of
the gross receipts.
Copyright
All programs are copyrighted and remain the property of the artist and EAI. Works may not be duplicated, copied, or
reproduced in whole or in part; exhibited theatrically, broadcast or cablecast; lent, transferred, leased or subleased to
any institution or individual; altered or excerpted in any way, without prior written consent of Electronic Arts Intermix.
We encourage you to send us copies of any promotional materials, program notes, reviews or audience feedback that
result from the screening of EAI programs. Where possible, please credit EAI as the distributor on your print materials.

All of the works available for sale or rental may be viewed by appointment and free of charge in EAI's Viewing Room.
Viewing Room hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call at least 2-3 weeks in advance for an
