Alumnus awarded Marshall Scholarship

A recent Georgia Tech graduate, James "Andy" Ozment, has been named the recipient of a Marshall Scholarship.

Ozment, of Atlanta, received a bachelor's degree in computer science in December 2000. He will pursue graduate studies at the London School of Economics. He is the only 2002 scholarship winner from a Georgia university.

The Marshall Scholarship is awarded annually to 40 outstanding American students. The award pays for two years of study at a British university. The scholarship fund was established by Parliament in 1953 to commemorate the humane ideals of the Marshall Plan.
