Rules & Guidelines

  • Teams may be composed of players from any affiliated NSCA club.
  • Each team is entitled to select a certified Level 1 (NSCA Competitions) or Level 2 (National Competitions) coach, whose name must appear on the team's entry form and/or on the official registration at the Championship site.
  • At no time will any person, except a fifth player or certified coach, be allowed into the ice-shed area.
  • A team must inform the Head Official before commencement of play if there is to be a change in the team's personnel.
  • At the Scott Tournament of Hearts participants wearing team sponsor cresting must wear the Scott Paper crest on the left breast of the same garment. Should a participant choose not to wear the Scott crest, no sponsor cresting or advertising will be allowed. Permissible cresting is at the sole discretion of the NSCA Championship Liaison and must not conflict with Scott Paper or any other NSCA sponsor. Scott Paper will provide 3? x 3? crests to all participating teams.
  • Should a team withdraw from, or be unable to participate in, the Championship Final, the next-qualified team from the second open qualifier will be slotted in the draw in the position of the team that is not participating.
