  • A maximum of 32 teams shall participate. Entries are allocated as follows:
    1. Each Club is guaranteed one (1) entry.
    2. Allot a second entry to clubs with five (5) or more teams in their club playdowns.
    3. Allot a third entry to cubs with ten (10) or more teams in their club playdowns.
    4. Allot a fourth entry to clubs with fifteen (15) teams or more in their club playdowns.
    5. At each step, entries are given first to clubs with the higher number of teams in their playdowns.
    6. After entries have been allocated as above and if the 32-team draw is still not full, additional entries shall be offered to clubs in order of the greatest number of teams in their playdowns.
    7. Where two or more clubs had the same number of entries in their mixed playdowns, the club with the largest per capita membership shall be allocated additional teams first.
  • All spares shall be taken from the spare pool provided by the host committee. The spare can curl in any position, keeping in mind the male/female normal line up in mixed play. The head official must approve the use of all spares previous to the start of any game. Once a spare starts a game, that spare will play that game until it is completed.
