Welcome to the Wikipedia Cleanup project. This project is intended as a resource for Wikipedia Cleanup information and discussion. Cleanup issues that this project covers may include wikification, spelling, grammar, tone, and sourcing.

Lists of pages requiring cleanup are automatically generated from the {{cleanup}} banners placed on articles. See Category:All pages needing cleanup and Category:Cleanup by month.

All users are welcome to help in editing or fixing any page on these lists. Please remember to take the appropriate tag(s) off the page when you have completed cleaning an article. Please also document what you have done on the article's talk page for the reference of other editors.

Information on the cleanup process may be found at Wikipedia:Cleanup process. Other resources may be found at Wikipedia: Cleanup resources and Wikipedia:Template messages/Cleanup, for help on posting problems with wikipedia pages, or for you to use as a guide.

As of 09:33, 20 January 2008 (UTC), 30,236 articles were tagged for cleanup, or 1.38% of the English Wikipedia's 2,183,122 articles.

[edit] The Wikipedia Cleanup Legacy List

The manually maintained lists on this page (below) have to an extent been superseded by category lists that are automatically generated from the {{cleanup}} banners placed on articles. See Category:All pages needing cleanup and Category:Cleanup by month.

You may add cleanup requests here as well if you wish (though it is not necessary); see Wikipedia:Cleanup process for further information. Editors are STRONGLY encouraged to try and perform clean-up themselves before posting articles to this list. Help in cleaning articles on this list is also greatly appreciated.

Please keep in mind that the lists here constitute only a small fraction of the Wikipedia articles tagged as needing cleanup, and they may not always be maintained as new articles are tagged or old articles are fixed. The list is still active through a number of editors who do still regularly try to attend to this list. Assistance and participation of other editors is welcome.

You may report confusing/messy articles below and explain why they need to be cleaned-up (grammar, spelling, formatting, order, copyright issues, confusion, etc.). Be sure to cross post your entry on the article's own discussion page for the references of other editors who may not visit this page. Please do not add articles below simply because they are POV or are lacking sources. Make sure to sign your additions with the following format: --~~~~.

[edit] February 2008

[edit] February 15-29

  • Pancharatna Kritis - Needs to be rewritten in a more encyclopedic style, wikifying, copy editing, and a lot of work. Contains all of the lyrics of the piece. these need to be removed or moved to wikisource. POV issues as well. No sourcing and orphaned. Desperately in need of attention. --Lendorien (talk) 00:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Chinatown patterns in North America - Completely unsourced, smacks of OR. --Lendorien (talk) 23:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Identity (social science) - large portions are unwikified. May contain copyvio. No intext refs, confusing. --Lendorien (talk) 23:53, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Choctaw is in need of a "second opinion" in regards to grammar, tone, and logical unity. Any help would be appreciated. Rob (talk) 15:07, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
  • George Seton, 5th Earl of Winton is in dire need of help from someone who is familiar with British history. Travellingcari (talk) 16:49, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Buddhism needs, first of all, reorganizing into a coherent structure. User:Gimme_danger & I tried a while back, but people kept simply reverting & ignored repeated requests to suggest their own arrangement. I hope people can come in & knock their heads together. Once there's a proper structure I can start seriously trying to address the imbalance in the article. Peter jackson (talk) 16:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
  • List of current DC Comics publications needs updating. Cubzrule (talk) 09:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)\
  • Battle of Panipat (1556) is in pretty bad shape; no ordering or sections to speak of, serious POV issues, no citations at all. GlassCobra 00:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 1-15, 2008

[edit] January 2008

  • Simile : too big to be a stub but didn't contain enough information to be a valid encyclopedia article.
  • Paul Tillich - maximally baffling heavy theology that may be OR. Needs stiff editing to make this accessible to the lay reader. 86.145.94.229 (talk) 04:47, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Transcendental argument for the non-existence of God "Criticisms" section reads like a colloquial forum.
  • Equivalence principle has a section "The equivalence principle and the nature of mass" that needs to be looked at by an expert. There are no citations, the English is poor, and it's lacking in any technical information needed to explain and justify the theory that it's talking about. I'd do it myself, but I've never heard of this theory before and so have no idea where to begin. Dbutler1986 (talk) 10:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Someone who seemed a vandal blanked page of Battle of Al Mansurah then when was stopped he changed text and put a clean up banner. He also made changes on pages of Sirat al-Zahir Baibars and Al Mansurah. he never explained why he did that.Samsam22 (talk) 22:13, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
  • SGML -- This article mainly describes highly specialized aspects of its associated subject. I'm contributing with the article but I would like some help. Rjgodoy (talk) 19:09, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
  • London art scene has been tagged with no less than 17 cleanup templates! (Is this some kind of record?) While I have no personal interest in this article, clearly it needs help. PC78 (talk) 02:11, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
  • John Sherman Cooper Needs some work w/ style. See talk page. --Haakonsson (talk) 23:01, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Aang Article has serious MoS problems that have to do with writing about fiction. In addition, recent changes have cluttered the article. Parent5446(Murder me for my actions) 02:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Eyes Wide Open - Article reads like advertising for this particular project and has a biased tone overall. --Lendorien (talk) 17:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Normal number - "Agafonov showed an early connection between finite-state machines and normal sequences: every subsequence selected from a normal sequence by a regular language is also normal. In other words, if one runs a finite-state machine on a normal sequence, where the finite-state machine outputs the digit it just read whenever it enters an accepting state, then the sequence it outputs will be normal." See the talk page for why I believe the statement is false as it stands; could somebody check the reference given ("Agafonov 1968") for what it actually says? - Mike Rosoft (talk) 19:21, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Template:European Union Treaty Scenario is broken (at least in Mozilla Firefox); it places the images beyond the right edge of the screen (and as a result you have to scroll the article to the right to see them). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:59, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007

  • Statistical survey - This page is written like class notes.
  • Mary Anderson (stage actress) - A large part of this article is taken word for word from a single source. Although the source is cited, this section should be summarized instead, especially since it is not set off in quotes and is in first person. CClio333 04:33, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] November 2007

  • Links throbitchugh Special:Linksearch/translate.google.com should probably be replaced with direct links. Language icons should be added after the links instead. Sample change: [1] -- User:Docu
  • World_Cyber_Games_2007: No lead section. PierceG (talk) 20:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
  • OvBB Article needs to reflect the recent domain ownership change. It no longer is under Jonathan Freeman's ownership. (1and1 now owns it.) --Iyeru42 (talk) 12:20, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Image Caption needs the Project forums link removed, unless you wish to change it to one of the demos. --Iyeru42 (talk) 17:04, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Falling of Blossoms is completely in Engrish. Needs proper grammar, and all that. Rogutaan (talk) 01:31, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance isn't that bad, but still could sound more professional. Marlith T/C 03:38, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Royal Military College of Canada needs cleanup. It used to be a good one but like any University or school article, every student adds it own little piece. It is now hard to read and confusing (i.e. languages, traditions, alumni) and there are a lot of irrelevant chapters (i.e. diversity, collectibles, ethics). Please Help!
  • Magnetosphere particle motion - Article has a discursive conversational physics textbook style, not an encyclopedia article style. It also lacks a proper time and place in order to intro to lead intot he article in a way a layman can understand. --Lendorien 19:25, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Daddy Yankee - Age needs to be determined, check the links. Editor Sabotage. Bravehart10000 04:53 a.m. GMT, November 29 2007
  • Businesses and organizations in Second Life - The page seems to have become a target for Second Life-related organizations to promote themselves. I have declined to speedily delete the page, as I believe it is salvageable; but it needs a severe pruning. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 10:44, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

[edit] September 2007

  • Lotus 1-2-3 needs serious cleanup. The article is virtually unreferenced, and doesn't do justice to one of the first (if not the first) killer app of the PC world. We should really do better.  ;-) /Blaxthos 18:02, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
  • SSE2 needs serious help. Tone is horrible. VideogamerAJ 07:04, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Ybor City and History of Ybor City requires cleanup because of tone, etc., and I have suspicions that a large amount of material is plagiarised. I may be wrong, and I'm new to Wikipedia processes, being more of a lurker.. so I thought I would leave this up to the experts to decide what to do with it - I notice the Tampa article also possesses some of this tone. Deus Ex Machina 02:30, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
    • Struck out my plagiarism comment, the writer of this material in the article appears to be an English teacher so it might just be his own quirky style of writing, but it doesn't really fit in with the tone of the encyclopedia. Deus Ex Machina 02:33, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
  • History of baseball in the United States - Section on Negro Leagues contains very few facts and doesn't read like an encyclopedia entry at all. Really the whole article needs a major overhaul, almost no references.--Youjane1 14:33, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Nomad - Article needs attention to check accuracy and possibly expand to provide more accurate definition. Also needs sources. --Lendorien 14:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Sukyo Mahikari - Religious article needs thorough cleanup to make encyclopedic. Needs wikification and copy editing for tone and pov issues. Significant sections unsourced. --Lendorien 14:31, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Arguments for and against drug prohibition - reads like a debate, some arguments are very weak e.g. Needs to be gone over for NPOV. Also contains serious sourcing issues. The article uses three different methods of sourcing. Needs to be converted to footnote intext references for entirety of article. Sections may need to be merged or reorganized. A very messy article. --Lendorien 19:43, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Assiti Shards series - This article has serious neutrality and OR issues. It needs to be deeply cut, perhaps even a deep revert. Completely lacks sources and has a fancruft tone. --Lendorien 19:43, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Lean Construction Worded like an advertisement. Deals with a specific construction technique by a limited group of firms. Promotes its superiority. Uses extensive external linking directly to for-profit organizations. 4.230.162.237 02:51, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Clinical_depression#Hypomania Urgent attention of an expert needed ! I (doctor) consider it factually wrong. Anxiety and panic are mostly not part of hypomania. Hypomania belongs to bipolar disorder not unipolar depression. And more and more. Chaotic written too.--jmak 08:23, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Hidden Mickey, This is quite possibly the worst article I ever read. It is filled with trivia, unrefernced things, indeed, but almost half asmush as the other one errors and a informal style. Marlith T/C 16:42, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Moisture absorber - Pooly written (informal style ...), unreferenced. - Mike Rosoft 10:54, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Translation - Has some readability issues. Also seems to be the subject of an editing skirmish between people who are in the field. The result is an article that reads like a textbook and is not very accessible to the non-expert. Man It's So Loud In Here 16:55, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

[edit] 11-31 August, 2007

  • Bezant Confusing and internal contradictions.
  • Irish Property Bubble - Terribly formatted and very poor writing and content.Referencing could be fixed up as well. Olockers 10:30, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Radu Duda, Prince of Hohenzollern-Veringen - Allegations of heavily POV and non-nuetrality. May need copy editing for tone and research to provide better balance. Subject of an edit war. Needs to be reviewed. Please see talk page for more details. --Lendorien 18:41, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Gelou - a bit more context needed. Sources lacking. --Lendorien 14:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Banasthali Vidyapith - Marked as an article which reads like an advertisement. It's based (with apparent permission) off the school's promotional brochure. Needs tone editing, wikification, cropping and possible expansion to include info usually found in university articles. --Lendorien 14:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Big Brother Australia series 3 - Needs tone checking and sourcing. --Lendorien 14:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Lalitaditya Muktapida - Article is not entirely thematically coherent at the moment. It needs to be reviewed by someone with a background in the subject to straighten things out. --Lendorien 14:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Alan Ladd - his filmography is completely unorganised. Reginmund 18:55, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Turned filmography into a list, titles still needs to wikified and the list needs to be pruned from non-notable entries as it is pretty long.--Sus scrofa 00:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Ferry Corsten - this is a featured-article calibre dj, but his page seems like it was made either by n00bs or his label. discography is a complete disaster and it lacks focus and background. DJRaveN4x 01:04, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Last Words - The article needs to be put into proper sections and some general clean up may also be needed. --Credema 17:57, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Skype has too much technical detail and computer jargon so consequently does not read well and the product is not explained. The article at the moment would be better placed in a specialist computer magazine.
  • Book 3 (Inheritance trilogy) may need to be updated. I had heard that a release date had been released for the third book. I believe it was set for early March, 2008, unless I heard false information.
  • Campus SuperStar is too long. Too many information thrown in on the article which are not required. Please post discussion on talk page before any major cleanup is done.Cocoma 22:21, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Project SuperStar is too long. Too many information thrown in on the article which are not required. Cocoma 22:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 1-10 August, 2007

  • 2 Wheels of Enterprise needs a lot of work. It lacks wikilinking; the section titles do not conform to general practice; the sections are too brief. I don't have time to tackle it, but hopefully somebody can get it into shape. --Moonriddengirl 13:32, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq grammar, repeated sentences, sections read like it was written by some teenager unfamiliar with the language. As the general's place in Pakistani history is important, I would like someone with academic knowledge to review, since the article has changed since the last time I read it. Mac
  • This looks ok now, I have done a little editing and removed some of the bias.--Seth J. Frantzman 13:50, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Abduction phenomenon is a godawful mess; see Talk:Abduction phenomenon#Numerous massive problems Eleland 04:27, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Jealousy is based upon an inaccurate/limited definition of the word "jealousy." Does not cover any of the other meanings of the word beyond that in a romantic context. Includes poorly organized, non-encylopaedic content. Entire 3rd paragraph is such high-level summary that it reads like a elementary school project - was worse than useless, far below the quality I've come to expect from Wikipedia. Punctuation is poor -I'm sure I could go on, but overall, I felt this was a very disappointing article.
  • Feminism and the Oedipus complex - Messy stylistically; the section on Deutsch reads like it was automatically translated or translated badly, & other sections are haphazard & unclear. All sections need more detail and a generally more thorough, professional treatment to be useful. PoetrixViridis 04:07, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Emmitt Smith - completely lacking in important career milestones (such as how the Cowboys acquired him), as well as lacking all but the most basic sense of a historic overview (one game is given its own section, the rest of his career is virtually ignored). --Badger Drink 19:43, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Uyghur people - Sloppily written, with poor grammar and illogical constructions; some sections are written in a juvenile tone; many unsupported statements; general pov Bacrito 15:36, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Big Brother (UK) - Article reads like a fan site. Poor grammar, no sources. Just plain low-standards. Dalejenkins | The Apprentice (UK)'s FA plea-please have your say! 18:16, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Had a go at this but it's such a huge subject to cover on one page... FeeelixTalk!! 12:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
  • I had a try at going through bits of the grammar and giving some bits references but it really needs a total rewrite! Groovychick3291 20:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Digital Entertainment Network - Article needs to be broken down, it is currently just a block o text. Grammar needs to be improved. Basically, the whole article needs improvement. --Credema 03:46, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] July 2007

[edit] 21-31 July 29, 2007

  • Spa bath - article could benefit from some copy editing (grammar, style, further wikification) --Sietse 16:43, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Deathbowl '98 - Written so badly that it's nearly incoherent; completely unreferenced
  • List of colleges and universities in South Carolina - Alot of wrong information. some public colleges listed as private. Needs cleanup
  • Haifa - English could be improved, transportation section is too detailed - maybe deserves its own article, academic institution could be better ... etc. --Lendorien 21:10, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Amedeo Guillet needs cleanup by someone familiar with Italian military history. Some text editing, organization and sources needed. --Lendorien 21:10, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Perpetua: An article about an early Christian martyr that mostly just needs some improvements in readability. Sources also needed. --Lendorien 21:10, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Pallava: Organization is poor. English is muddled. There seems to be some original research mixed in there, although that might just be an artifact of poor composition. Probably needs a solid fact-check. Justin Bacon 15:57, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
  • Promotional model NeedsSome text editing, wikifying + sources. --Lendorien 21:10, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Hollard Group - Has weird links to non-existent article, POV- seems to be a promo taken from the company literature. Frankie816 14:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Center for Talented Youth - This is terribly written, it is full of typos and has more fandom than information. It seems like someone wrote the article who did not know how to write, because of that there are no links and bad HTML. Marlith 03:35, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Direct-to-video - Needs copyediting and sources --Lendorien 13:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Brian Keenan (musician) Needs cats, some research and sources. --Lendorien 13:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Nursing Informatics - needs copy editing, sources and probably expert attention. --Lendorien 13:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Kshatriya - needs extensive editing for grammar, to remove redundancy, and generally to make it encyclopedic. -- Whateley23 20:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Cave diving - Needs to be completely re-organised. Too much of some info, others are lacking. Lacks proper headings. History section is particularly scrappy (ricjl)

[edit] 11-20 July, 2007

  • Tejano music - Needs repair of many links, and several paragraphs are opinionated talk-page like material. --Whoistheroach 14:40, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Talking to Dragons - Abnormally massive paragraph with potentially useless information.
  • Steven Pienaar - Has been playground for vandals. Somebody with knowledge of subject may be needed to verify current version, which needs work even if completely accurate. Moonriddengirl 13:15, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
  • phantom voltage - Good introduction to this particular term, and is written adequately; however, formatting, citations, and organization need work to be more wiki-ish. Lots of possibly wikify-able terms, aren't. 65.112.197.16 21:23, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Tucker Max - This article has many grammatical errors and is poorly written. The article seems to be biased and makes claims that contradict the sources. 21:47, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Bassmasters Classic - Lack of third-party sources. Rjgodoy 08:27, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Nexus:_The_Kingdom_of_the_Winds - This article is poorly organized, badly written, and has a LOT of unnecessary material...lneely42
  • Deleted a LOT of material from this page following the Wikipedia Video Game Article guideline. Also spent some time rewriting several portions of the article correcting grammar, spelling, and poor writing. Some portions I have decided to leave alone for the time being, especially the Controversy section... I think it could be left, but rewritten to be neutral, as the controversy is an integral part of the game... lneely42 06:18, 14 July 2007 (CST)
  • Sardar Amir Azam - De-PoV& wikify. Half of article is unsourced. --Lendorien 18:59, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
  • John Tunnard - apart from needing wikifying, extremely subjective account that looks like original research. Needs sources and rewrite to cull out tone issues that make it read like a college textbook discussion. --Lendorien 18:59, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Stingless bee - Needs sources. --Lendorien 18:59, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Hip hop & Hip hop music - Both appear to replicate the content of each other. Hip hop music has two styles of referencing, includes a list of sources, and a limited number of Harvard refs. The article is full of opinion, not neutral and very long. Confused re-directs/merger requests. Escaper2007 11:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Vasileios Spanoulis - The formatting of this article is very sloppy and the layout makes for a very confusing read, but it has potential given the amount of quality information about this international NBA player compared to many others. MichaelProcton 04:46, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Hanover Shoe Farms has a cleanup tag on it but I cannot find the reason why on this page. I made recent edits to it to clean it up but I'm not sure if I fixed the problem. COuld somebody give me a hand? I'm new to wikipedia. Barn Cat 18:36, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
I will definitely try to help, but most of the help I can offer is to clean up the language. It currently sounds very stilted. Sean Montgomery 14:23, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Mitotic inhibitor - Recently I have created and expanded the stub 'mitotic inhibitor'. This article is of great importance to cancer treatment and research, but I am very inexperienced in writing for wikipedia and therefore I believe the article needs extensive rewrite, seeing as it does not meet the quality of other wikipedia pages I have seen. I would be grateful if soeone were to help me format the page and expound upon the subject. Dancanm 14:46, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Kentucky-Louisville rivalry - Alot of grammatical errors, along with poor layout and spelling. Kycowboyntv 23:51, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Quarantine - Based on the 1911 Britanica article, this article is out of date, poorly written (with too much emphasis on the 19th century) and needs sourcing. --Lendorien 15:57, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 1-10 July, 2007

  • Strawberry Shortcake-Majority of the article is unsourced and probably contains original research and whatever sources are there are questionable. Storm05 16:12, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Nihonjinron - An article that looks like it's in the middle of major editing but hasn't been edited in almost a month. It has a section named 'Comment to be repositioned' and other stuff that should've been done on the talk page. Haridan 07:04, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Pseudo.com - Notable internet pioneer firm, however page lacks a lead, a lot of the information is in non-encyclopedic form, and the bulk of the people mentioned are red-links. --Cerejota 03:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Keith Olbermann - Poorly organized, headings not parallel. Hobo-nc 03:26, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Morchella - Fairly well written, but omits several very important facts: one being that eating the true morel raw will cause serious gastrointestinal distress and the other being that it must not be confused with the toxic False morel. juusan 03:31, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Energizer Bunny - Needs sources. Some prosification. --Lendorien 14:56, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Non-synchronous transmissions - Article needs serious improvements. It repeats information, it has no illustrations to explain the text, and it is written in an unencyclopedic manner. It also promotes the American Trucker Association, & Professional Truck Driver's Association school at the Houston Community College N.E. campus in northeast Houston, TX (USA)! Why? — CZmarlin 02:26, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Ranger's Apprentice (series) - A large amount of spelling and grammatical errors. Way to many for me to fix on my own. The content at parts can also sound very unprofessional

  • Lawrence Dimick - This article is clumsily written, with halting grammar. The headings make it unclear whether the section "fictional biography" is missing entirely (other than the heading itself) or made up of subsections that merely relate the plot of Reservoir Dogs. The entire article is written with overly basic sentences; this may seem like an odd complaint, but read the article and you'll see what I mean. Minaker 06:38, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

  • TV3 (Catalonia) This entry has been turned into a perfect clone of the TV3 corporate web site. It seems that Wikipedia has chosen to neuter well-documented public criticism concerning the public debates on TV3 (some of it from highly-placed individuals in Catalonia's Parliamentary Control Commission). Furthermore, the entry has been protected from any further editing except by "Andromeda" (the TV corporation's self-appointed publicist).
  • Violence Against Women Act - I agree with recent posts in talk section that the article need a major revision with an eye toward NPOV. It seems odd to me that the article seems to be almost entirely a criticism of this law. REL1870 21:24, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

I understand this edition Encyclopædia is frequently used as a resource, but the style of writing is outdated and is not consistent with the rest of Wikipedia. Even though it appears there have been some changes in the past to make it sound more up-to-date, the content of the article still sounds rather archaic. The article might also need the attention of someone who knows a bit about the artist. --Neinfraulein 03:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Filippino Lippi: (Renaissance painter) - I'm still relatively new at all this, but it seems to me that this article is completely lacking in references. I would tag it, but am still uncomfortable with taking such liberties. There also seems to me some NPOV violations, given a lack of critical reference in such sentences as this, "His first works greatly resemble those of Botticelli's, but with less sensitivity and subtlety" and "Eventually Lippi's style evolved into a more personal and effective one...." [edit] April 13-16, 2007

  • I had a go at this, but it still needs a lot of work and a fresh pair of eyes. It looks to me like the initial work was done by an automatic internet translator, so there may be a copyright issue somewhere here...Lorangriel 15:29, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Done a little more, but I'm pretty much stuck. I know nothing about this! FeeelixTalk!! 12:18, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Channel 4 programming is a new article that combines material lifted from Channel 4 (which was becoming too big) and material merged from the former List of Channel 4 television programmes. It is divided into genres of programming some of which are highly specific with others being vague and mixed-up. It also contains content from many different editors, describing specific programmes individually, which tends to make the prose seem very disjointed. It generally needs a tidier structure, but given the amount of content, is a pretty big endeavour. It is also separately tagged as requiring references. -- Fursday 00:02, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Emil Krebs - Wall of text that appears to have been translated. Alksub 21:57, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Yes, it appears to have been computer-translated from the German WP article.[1 Schmitty120 14:32, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Supernatural - This is an important article, but unfortunately it contains many forward claims that require attribution to reliable sources, chief among them a strong support of methodological naturalism in science. It lacks references for many of its other claims, which I have marked with "citation needed" tags. It uses numerous weasel words. "Competing Explanations and Criteria of Preference" as well as the end of "Alleged instances of supernaturalization" have a naturalistic POV and should be cut down unless reliable sources can be found to support their statements. See what I wrote under "Unsourced." Good day.Schmitty120 19:35, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus - does not fit the format of a proper medical ailment article. See Tuberculosis for an example of a proper one. This should be a fairly easy fix as the article is not that long. --Lendorien 13:38, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Model 1888 Commission Rifle - no sources, no sections, and some information is repeated three times throughout the text. Maybe it should also be moved to Gewehr 88, in line with how Gewehr 98 and Karabiner 98k is named. --Sus scrofa 20:48, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] April 1-12, 2007

  • James_Coonan - A rambling, unfocused narrative that digresses into a fairly interesting but inappropriate story. Even when it's topical, the writing is difficult to follow.--128.186.153.249 20:46, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
  • I have done a complete revision of the text in this article, cut out some of the rambling content. Some content moved to talk page pending sourcing. Desperately needs citations and examination by an expert. --Lendorien 20:20, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
  • I removed the redundant information...and there was lot of that. Kweeket 23:00, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Los Angeles Southwest College - This article reads like a recruitment pamphlet. I think it has some good information but needs to be made a little more NPOV and less shiny. If that makes sense. I added the {{Advert}} template. —BassBone (my talk · my contributions) 07:57, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Libri Prohibiti - Needs to be wikified, have Czech-language names etc. corrected (diacritics), and also restructured - perhaps trimmed a bit. - Mike Rosoft 17:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
  • North-West Frontier Province - The geography section reads like a travel ad, while the history section contains a copypasted lecture. I couldn't retrieve where the lecture ends and the proper article continues. AecisBrievenbus 22:55, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Australian Survivor - Overlong and filled with trivia and POV comments. --Nick Dowling 01:58, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Kurali - The long paragraph is makes sense at first but then seems poorly thrown together.KBi 09:30, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Rudolf Bahro - Large blocks of text, masses of data thrown into an article. --themcman1 13:58, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
  • List of characters in Ed, Edd n Eddy - The article cannot differentiate between fact and fiction. The only part of the article that does this is the lead. Needs to be rewritten to conform with WP:WAF. Squirepants101 20:03, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Template:R_with_possibilities -- Wording is difficult to understand; writing style does not match other Wikipedia messages. I know this isn't the Simple English version of Wikipedia, but this Template is really confusing. --hadley 15:33, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Confessions_of_a_Teenage_Drama_Queen - stumbled on the site as suggested by SuggestBot for it being a stub, but turns out the plot section is one run-on sentence followed by another. EvokeNZ 06:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • I did what I could for the poor thing. --The Streetsweeper 08:42, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Route poisoning - Confusing at best - inaccurate at worst. I don't know enough to fix myself, but I know that the author is confusing route poisoning and poison reverse. Someone with expert networking knowledge needs to go over this. 68.85.119.250 22:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2007

[edit] March 21-31, 2007

  • I took a jab at it. A lot of the work simply required naturalization of the English grammer, so that's done. I can't say anything about the informational content itself. Still needs sourcing. --Lendorien 17:26, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Rock the Vote - Much of the article is straight copy-paste, tenses are mixed, and sections need to be added. -- Xenoveritas 15:41, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Conservatism in Canada - General cleanup in several areas, including factual accuracy, citations, clarity and organization. Hipsterlady 21:47, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Neoconservatism in Canada - This article does not adequately cite its references or sources.Hipsterlady 21:47, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Tiësto - Career section begins well but ends up in a mere listing of sometimes irrelevant events. Furthermore, the end of the section looks really messy. --Ionstorm 17:53, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Fender_Stratocaster - Article begins well but loses organization and the running order jumps around. D. Miller
  • Dolphins-Jets rivalry - Lots of information (perhaps too much), but unencyclopedic tone throughout much of the article; too much for me to rewrite on my own. Could use some copyediting too, perhaps. -- Highway99 06:30, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • List of Dutch hip hop musicians - Needs wikification, npov'ing, etc. AecisBrievenbus 17:15, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Did some cleanup here, mostly needs sources and organization now. General cleanup would still help. Nswinton 19:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Cleaned up somewhat, but may need additional changes. --DSPoh 13:33, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Ronson's Lighters - Not much content; loosely organized. I did a bit of copyediting, but this article needs to be revised and expanded. --DoorsAjar 08:41, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • USA PATRIOT Act - It's hard to find information in it.
  • Ribesal - Real topic, but extremely badly written, unreferenced, and unwikified. -- Mike Rosoft 22:12, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Environmental issues in Ethiopia - Good info, but sounds like it's written by a non-native speaker, lots of redundancies and some grammar/spelling errors
  • I cleaned up the sentence structure, spelling and grammar issues for the most part. -- Nswinton 17:03, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 11-20, 2007

  • Dronfield - This article has been subject to many small, unstructured additions producing an incoherent and somewhat unintelligible read. The information in the main body is delivered in a short and almost truncated manner for the most part, explicating very little as the topics progress. Secondly, half of the text under “History” relates very loosely to history; distinct sections relating explicitly to their own content may solve this. -- Naqahdah 14:08, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Naqahdah
  • Olivia_(singer) - Proofreading for typos and general cleanup required, e.g. same facts are stated multiple times in several locations (bio, music career)
  • Erotic Lactation - Article needs general proofreading. Spelling errors, non-words, and some colloquial speech detracting from encyclopedic tone.
  • This still needs more editing. I attempted to make spelling/grammar changes, but short on time and unable to finish it now. I cannot in good conscience recommend leaving the bit about lesbians breastfeeding each other being commonplace. The citation for that bit was dated to 1934: too old for anything current and scholarly. I left it there, though. Snackar 09:46, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Sutton High Sports College - This article needs proofreading, verified sources and generally, a more encyclopedic tone. --EscapingLife 21:48, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Noelle Pikus Pace - This article is poorly written and from a first person perspective. The person is real and seems notable but the text of the article needs much attention. Sadly more than I hace this morning. JBEvans 10:55, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Social studies - This article needs clean-up, streamlining or a complete rewrite and/or a possible merge? I tried some by correcting spelling but I do not have enough time, interest nor experience to format the layout and content. Also not sure about the validity/nobility of the subject, as it seems to be some sort of set of study hints for students; therefore un-encyclopedic? I also tried to make the layout look a bit better, it's better looking but still is a poor article in my opinion. Hopefully someone will look at this to help clean it up, expand it, merge it, or delete it. I did add a stub tag. Dunno :/ -Jeeny 19:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I tried to break up the material in the introduction into subsections as well as removing some redundancy and confusing sentence structure. I also rephrased the Digital Technology section to be easier to understand and to sound less like a commercial. I don't know enough about the teaching methods to know what to do with them, but I recommend perhaps just creating a new page or linking to an existing one that covers the method of teaching. The current lists are not very informative and seem more like a brochure than an encyclopedia entry. SPH. 17, March 2007.
  • General Hospital - This article is in need of some basic cleanup and reformatting. If left untended, it will essentially turn into a recap/fansite page. I don't have a problem with posting storyline-type information, but it needs to be brought up to WP Quality standards. Also, fans keep adding new couple and supercouple pages for practically every set of characters, most of which is in blatant violation of WP:NOR. I would think most of the "couple" pages are good candidates for deletion. A few, like Luke and Laura Spencer are definitely Notable for their contribution to the modern Soap Opera, but most are frivolous and unnecessary.--66.91.225.99 02:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Rachel Stevens - The article seems to have too many sections, and become very messy and untidy to look at. Blacksilkandy 22:05, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Spread of Islam - This article has a few passages with clearly biased points of view and should be written much more neutrally. Examples of quotes include "The infamous Hakim (Al-Hakim bi-amr-Allah, the sixth Egyptian Caliph, 996-1021, who became the god of the Druze) determined to destroy the Holy Sepulchre (In 1010.)" Infamous? God of the Druze? What?
  • "Yet, in spite of all, Christianity failed, and Islam succeeded in gaining the Iranian race." I think there is a much better way of saying that. --213.174.190.59 17:00, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Attempted to fix some of the biased phrasing. Still needs some work. --Drsexlove 16:00, 3 June, 2007 (UTC)
  • Library - Could probably be divided up into several articles: one section has a request for development. -- Jackiespeel 19:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Sri - The article is just totally misformatted and repeats paragraph; spacing is all wrong. The whole thing is royally screwed up.
  • Cleaned it up some. Still needs work. RichM90071 01:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Jared Ingersoll - All the information is there, the page needs formatting work, wikification and sources.
  • Sunflower_oil - Is nearly an advertisement. No NPOV, and no hear-say claims.
  • I did fix the overzealous capitalization. -- Sci girl 04 May 2007
  • Rancho San Joaquin Middle School - Seems a little one-sided, don't you think. It is only talking about one humanities teacher, Kay Gee, there are other humanities teachers and other teachers there who deserve to have their name on their as well, not just her. Please do something about it, I didn't want to touch it, but I might fix it a bit... just a bit.
  • Shorts - The section 'Motivation' is poorly worded. -- Bitbut 01:46, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I tried to clean it up a bit and reword it. More than just the Motivation section needs work. --Joanna 03:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I agree, but that's not the half of it. For a start, it seems to be written, without realising it, from an entirely monocultural (North American) point of view, but this is a subject on which attitudes and practice vary a lot even within the English-speaking world, never mind everywhere else. There are also a lot of terminological and definition problems. Unfortunately I know a lot about this subject, so I suppose I shall have to get down to work on it. [edit] March 1-11, 2007

  • Intermolecular force - Citations need to be added.
  • Gaffney High School - A user has put a large amount of unformatted text in the article, and asked me not to revert it. Could somebody make heads or tails of it? - Mike Rosoft 18:26, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
  • The broken formatting has been fixed, but I still think there's too much (not particularly encyclopedic) content. - Mike Rosoft 14:08, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Varalaru - History of Godfather - Many grammatical and clarity errors. Much of the content essential to a good article on a film is there, but it is also confusing to read. Most of the spelling errors have been addressed, but the original author(s) may not be familiar enough with English (no criticism intended). A good copy editor is essential, and familiarity with the film may be beneficial. The article will benefit from much paring of excessive detail, and significant citing. Also, many, many incidences of what appears to be original research, or at least, personal interpretation. :  Jim Dunning  talk  :  03:30, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Country pop - No sources, informal and awkward style (incl. unnecessarily long, if not run-on, sentences), poor grammar.
  • National Monument (Ireland) - Just plain confusing
    • Cleanup and confusion tags added. TenPoundHammer 22:51, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  • The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority - This article is organized poorly.
  • Privatization - Most of this article suffers from a total lack of sources. Furthermore, it has relatively little information on its actual subject; actual facts about privatization are overwhelmed by information about arguments pro and con. Even discussions of actual privatizations tend to overemphasize information about the arguments surrounding it relative to other facts, which is a serious information bias. Elliotreed 19:35, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
  • British African-Caribbean community - Is supposed to be about the African and Caribbean communities in Britain but instead is completely about the Caribbean, please clean it up. I already tried but somebody changed it back.
  • I think you're misunderstanding the term 'African-Caribbean'; think of it like 'African-American', ie Caribbean citizens of African descent (not Caribbean citizens and African citizens). Hope that helps. Jonathanmills 20:33, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Praieira revolt - This article needs cleanup. Needs more context and details. It's badly in need of sourcing and a general reorginaziation of the info. It reads like a philisophical essay rather than an article and is light on any real meat. --Lendorien 00:57, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Viva Piñata (TV series) - Badly written, needs markup and source links. -- treelo talk 18:33, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Ranger's Apprentice (series) - Requires checking of detail, an info bar, a table of contents, locations, cleanup of messy character section, and better summary of the books.
  • Biotechnology - Needs a cleanup of the formatting and on the info. It is currently too messy and hard to retrieve information from...
  • Europa-Park - Added the Infobox, but will not format properly. Can somebody take a look and help out? Also the article is in need of some general reformatting to make it easier to read. Poeloq 21:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
  • SS Standartenfuehrer Guenther Anhalt - Major revision! Wikified, checked accuracy, did some research. Need an expert: was this guy involved in the Wormhoudt massacre? He became a company commander in the involved battalion 18 days before the massacre. Fifth Rider 22:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Article needs sources. Most of the sources for information in this article are probably in german. Seems ok otherwise. --Lendorien 15:07, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
  • The introduction to this article provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject matter. (Rjgodoy 14:34, 3 March 2007 (UTC))
  • Hard for a layman to understand. Sourcing is wonky. Lacks an intro that breaks it down for the layman. --Lendorien 14:42, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Agreed. Article lacks any sort of sourcing, though it looks like the list has been culled quite a bit. --Lendorien 17:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Fixed some grammatical errors. --Akiramenai 06:55, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Jauhar - This article seems to have been patched together from other Wikipedia material and original work from a non-native English speaker. Even if the grammatical errors were fixed, this article could still probably stand to be completely rewritten, referenced, and generally wikified. - Lukeonia1 09:10, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Mars Hill Church - Read a little too informally and a little too much like an ad. Already did some cleanup, but could possibly use more. - raekwon 14:05, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. - Redundancy; awkward chronology; copyediting needed.
  • I did a lot of copyediting and rewording for clarity, and removed some redundant text. However, this still needs a look from someone familiar with the topic. --DoorsAjar 00:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Nautical tourism - Worthy topic, but needs a rewrite/expansion; unreferenced, not written in an encyclopedic style. - Mike Rosoft 11:14, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Tony Hutchinson - Bad grammar and lots of broken links. Samx 20:08, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Lexical knowledge - Currently orphaned, cites no references, and in need of encyclopedic style. WillHarper 00:14, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Libertà condizionata - Same as above. Both articles were created by the same user, and are plagued with basic structural problems. • Rupert Lowe This article has a lot of information, but it is poorly structured. The tone is too conversational and there are numerous uncited POV assertions.+
  • The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock - I put in a cleanup-reminder tag about halfway through the article. The first half of the article is good, but the second half needs a grammar, spelling, and style check, along with wikification. - Im.a.lumberjack 23:44, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Mariavite Church thorough/comprehensive but slightly POV/over-favourable. Jackiespeel 17:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
  • RMI-IIOP It assumes too much background knowledge. It has no general discussion about what this protocol is, what various forms it takes, what it's used for, it's history etc. I already know a little bit about them and use them but came here to learn something more and went away without the info I was looking for. • Web crawler - This page appears to have been purposefully defamed. AarrowOM 15:49, 20 February 2007
  • Geophagy - Screwy formatting and wikification, and an over-emphasis on cultural issues at the expense of medical content.
  • Muv-Luv - This article is written in a very confusing way. The character information appears to be the central feature rather than the main story itself. Apparently, the information came from a Japanese source, so it needs a cleanup to meet up the standards of an article written in English. Thank you, Minako-Chan* 14:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Hoodlums (Rayman) - someone recently added a load of information which is not found in game, and did not give a source. The additions are rather poorly written and have an informal tone (some of it is grammatically incorrect, too) RobbieG 21:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Also not inparticularly thorough and has some formatting issues. Also uses the term "sophomore" a lot which I think is outlawed by the Manual of Style (due to it not being used outside of the US and Canada). Esteffect 18:28, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

  • John M. Bennett. Problems with this page: Wordart needs a disambiguation page. Pictures should be properly sized and placed. Jameswiese's additions, though well-meaning, should be modified to fit the writing of the page and the general tone required by Wikipedia.
  • Los Angeles News Service - Article needs to be rewritten in a more consise style, with headings and proper sourcing. I've made some attempt to clean it up. There's some personal info in there about the founders. Not sure it's appropriate for the article, but the founder's article was merged with this one some time back. --Lendorien 14:41, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Bat Boy: The Musical - This article is ridiculously convoluted in its Synopsis section. It jumps in an incredibly confusing and distracting way, and in certain regions it plagiarizes directly from the blurb of the book. And frankly, being an ex-actor in this musical, I frankly don't think I'm objective enough to rewrite this. Also, might want to keep an eye on the Controversy and External Links -- far too many high schools have been advertising in there. Ryoji.kun 04:31, 25 January 2007
  • Psychological warfare- Poorly written, reads like a bad high school paper. Tagged this as suggested on the talk page.
  • Dumba - Looks like a vanity page, little encyclopedic content. Needs severe pruning. - Mike Rosoft 16:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Alex Rackley - reads like a poorly written newspaper article; needs grammar correction and general cleanup. --Matthew K 03:36, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Green Politics - needs a complete makeover
  • Allu Arjun - needs almost complete rewrite - reads like a vanity article at this time. VirtualSteve 10:29, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Comet (passenger car) — Format is highly unlike encyclopedic content; article reads like a school essay. Tone is highly informal; language is imprecise; descriptors of varieties of names for railcars cited in article are incomplete and sometimes misapplied.
  • Cyber-bullying - Badly in need of overhaul in every sense. Needs more valid, verifiable information. Lacks citations, what citations it has relate to single source, which, while valid enough, risks POV. -- Zeraeph 13:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Muraqabah - Doesn't use sections, is a guide on meditating or something (possibly shouldn't be in Wikipedia?), I'm not also sure this is WP:N. Maybe someone should nominate it for deletion, but at the very least it needs substantial work. --SLi 19:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 11 - 20, 2007

  • Risk society - Doesn't read like a wikipedia article. Possibly copied from somewhere. 87.127.73.65 02:19, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Nat Tarnopol - Either an unwikified textdump or perhaps a copyvio. AecisBravado 19:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
  • The article on Drew Brees, New Orleans Quarterback, needed revision. Someone posted inapporiate comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.128.195.154 (talkcontribs)

  • Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal) - this article is badly in need of a rewrite. -- Tygartl1 02:41, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
  • SEIKIMA-II - This needs a huge cleanup. Albums need their own pages and should be removed from band's page. Additional info needs to be given on the band as well, as there is currently no background information there. -- Doberman Pharaoh 03:27, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Comstock Music Festivals need to be fleshed out, especially citing numbers of attendees, organizing the bands by year/festival, and creating more links. User: bmoorewiki 2:52 CST
  • Interlochen Arts Camp Unorganized and confusing. This page has been nearly destroyed by unreverted vandalisms and POV edits. The list of Notable alumni is especially bad. Interlochen Arts Camp section need Wikifying. S.dedalus 21:33, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 1 - 10, 2007

  • Water cannon - No references. --RedHillian 04:21, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Early IBM disk storage - The article's tone needs improvement. Article refers to the reader, and it recommends doing a calculation in the first paragraph rather than providing data. Voket 23:02, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Special Assessment Tax (mistakenly created at First article) - unwikified, possibly copied from somewhere. - Mike Rosoft 22:38, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Yellow Pages - other countries and regions section needs to be cleaned up re. URLs, layout and general content.
  • Notting Hill - poorly structured and hard to read. Needs internal sectioning. -- Earle Martin [t/c] 16:36, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Article now is acceptable, but lacks sources. --Lendorien 18:21, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Zygosity - A mess. jkhjkSomeone has combined three reasonable articles into one strange amalgam, using copy & paste rather than merging histories. This needs someone to right the wrongs who also knows enough of the science to know what they're doing. --Grutness...wha? 01:03, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Still unresolved. Needs EXPERT who knows the subject to sort it out. --Lendorien 20:00, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Cooperative and others (many here, notably Co-operative economics and Co-operative Federalism/Cooperative federalism mess) - Mixed usage in text within most of those articles (cooperative versus co-operative) and mixed usage between articles makes for confusing in-text links. This would require someone with admin powers to complete some of the needed moves, but otherwise it just needs someone with a lot of time to comb through and correct the spellings to how the article is titled. Gave me a migraine. Buona fortuna! --Rkitko 08:10, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 16-21

  • Airsoft-This has been tagged for a while, but was never added to the list. Most of the cleanup needed deals with style and tone. 65.197.192.130 23:41, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Gretchen Wilson-The personal life section of the entry jumps around a lot and needs a rewrite for better flow.
  • Art criticism - the article is awful: badly written, non-encyclopedic, and extremely limited in scope. Seems like a topic worthy of some serious attention. 68.165.23.73 01:13, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Imagekind - Originally read like an ad but has made progress, though I think it still needs some work to conform to WP:STYLE. JRHorse 14:23, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Cha-cha-cha Single 'History' section collapses into an awkwardly-written description of the basic cha-cha-cha steps. --Yggdrasil 08:21, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Comte de Lautreamont This article was totally rewritten in essay style with many mistakes in grammar, tone, etc. In addition, the objective tone was destroyed and added information was unsourced and repetitive.
  • Dresden This needs grammar help and some rewriting, particularly in the Statistics section Lcarscad 16:52, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Considerably cleaned up now, for grammar/syntax/typos/spelling, style, tone of voice, etc. but still is missing a lot of sources and I think also a bit repetitive. Could probably be boiled down a bit.Woblosch 00:06, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Indian National League - I did what I could with it. It needs someone who knows something about politics and political parties in India. Tygartl1 22:38, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Desperate Housewives has many grammar mistakes, unsourced statements and speculation on future episodes. Season overviews also list many unnecessary details and could be shortened. Sfufan2005 22:10, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Ghosthunter has a lot of spelling and grammatical problems. Just needs someone to clean it up thats actually played the game, as many of the issues are in the plot section. Galactor213 00:49, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Colin Moss has a lot of repeating info. Might need some re-organization. Tygartl1 21:17, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Hyperdispensationalism - This article on a Christian doctrine has recently had a lengthy correction posted as a personal note rather than a proper edit. --Yggdrasil 00:14, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Minnesota Vikings - The "2006" section contains numerous stylistic errors and grade-school level English. --Action Jackson IV 09:45, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
  • I made style changes to be more consistent with the other sections of the MN Vikings article, but it's my first edit of a WP site, so please feel free to provide feedback.
  • Much of the stylistic problems are gone, but the article needs sources. --Lendorien 14:10, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 1-15

Started work on this, copied in election boxes I could find, will get onto the rest soon.
  • I propose that safety climate and safety culture be merged, as they appear to be very similar concepts, perhaps one being the European and the other the American terms for in effect the idea. timtregenza 07:19, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
  • SameGame - a bit too casual compared to Wikipedia standards
  • The Da Vinci Code (film) - the Differences between film and novel section has been tagged for cleanup since October 2006, but it doesn't appear to have been entered on this page. The list is extremely long and needs some serious work. Betaeleven 14:31, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
  • My Parents are Aliens - Specifically the episode synopses. Not all the series are formatted the same way, it's been tagged for non-standard English, and some of the grammar and spelling is quite poor as well. More alarmingly, I found some plagiarism in the characters section, (and replaced it), and I'm concerned that the synopses might contain some as well. RobbieG 16:49, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
  • 2000 NHL Entry Draft - Round 2 to 9 need to be properly formatted. Aecis Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984. 13:51, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Sholiyar, newly created article by new user needs some work, to put it generously. ॐ Priyanath 05:04, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Samuel Colt - has no structure and makes references to things that are never mentioned. Not very clear to someone unfamiliar with the subject. 70.170.27.119 16:55, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] November 16 - 30

  • Powersgaming - Looks like a fairly notable gaming group, but most of the contents doesn't seem to be very encyclopaedic. - Mike Rosoft 13:35, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Ashe County, North Carolina - General spelling, formatting and syntax problems, someone with local knowledge would be useful. RHB 20:06, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Have done some grammatical editing. Still has no citations whatsoever.Monocle1 19:06, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Travis S Taylor - Article sounded like fan-speak, I have made some changes to the tone but some sections still lack citations. Metlin 18:51, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Multi-agent_system - The article lacks a general description. There should be a long general description of MAS, and a short concrete example (not the other way round, as it is now) --JFromm 13:20, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Persepolis - A lot of good info here on one of the ancient world's most important cities, but it reads like it was written by someone who spoke a primary language other than English. The introduction is strong, but then it goes downhill. Lots of grammar and punctuation issues and some really weird syntax. Also, zero references. Dppowell 05:37, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Did some copyediting. Still has issues that I can't fix, mostly due to lack of familiarity with the subject and the fact that it was probably written by someone with English as a 2nd Language. I'm not familiar with the subject so someone else more familiar with ancient persia probably needs to look it over. Also, it needs citations desperately. There's a good start on a solid article here, but it needs more work.--Lendorien 00:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
  • History of Cuba - Cuban Rebels section has seemingly random information, and needs fluidity. Its kind of a mess, really. G.bargsnaffle 19:42, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Chinese language - Many sections are disorganised and do not conform to the language template recommended by the Wikiproject of Languages. Also, subsections are misplaced, such as loanwords, which shouldn't be listed under morphology and the content is quite difficult to read. Another discrepany is when you search for Sinitic languages, it redirects you to the Spoken Chinese entry; however, when you type Chinese languages, it brings you to Chinese language. The section on Chinese characters is still unnecessarily long even though there is already a detailed article on Chinese characters. And the whole entry is just too long, it is 57kb in size, some of the clumsier sections should be rewritten for sub-articles. I do not understand how this article managed to become a featured article before, or maybe it was much better. Please contact me if anyone would like to work together on this Shingrila 05:18, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Alice Academy - Information on the article, mostly on the characters are very confusing... -210.213.159.187
  • Aureal Semiconductor - Minor punctuation, typo, and grammar issues. At least one "editing comment" appears in the body. Structure could use a cleanup. --Dan Hendricks 02:32, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I did as much copy-editing as I, still needs some work.{*TEE DUB*} (talk) 22:51, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Xine - Needs references for the "DVD Issues" section.
  • Forest_School,_Horsham - indiscrimate and redundant listing of everything associated with the school 19:37, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Rashied Ali - Currently a mess of unsourced, unformatted articles, including one in French (???). I didn't want to revert back to a stub, and I suspect there may some useful information in there, but I don't have time to read through a dozen pages to find it.
  • Paravas - I have been editing this page for style and general cleanup. This page also needs citations and some consolidation of information that is repeated in the article in different places. I am continuing to work on this article but I think it will benefit from multiple hands.Dalassa 13:24, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Hornsby Girls' High School - Reads like a school magazine --Princess Tiswas 13:15, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I gave it a copy edit and deleted the more obvious puffery and POV. Unfortunately the school's website is so poorly designed for non-Australians not connected with the school, it would take a braver person than I to wade through it looking for information. I hope a student of the school will take this on, and invited that. Accounting4Taste 22:03, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Pot Noodle - Reads like advertising and appears to violate WP:CORP--Princess Tiswas 17:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Heinrich_Schliemann Nothing too serious here, just needs a stylistic edit to read more like an encyclopedia entry and less like a magazine.

[edit] November 1 - 15

  • St._Bartholomew's_School - Needs general spelling and grammar cleanup. Some of the text is also perhaps too trivial and irrelevant for inclusion on Wikipedia. I-hunter 16:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC) -- SkierRMH 11:32, 18 November 2006 (UTC). Spelling and grammar have been cleaned up.Note quote under history section is in Old English of 1466. Kathleen.wright5 04:50, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Park - For such a common topic, the article seems to jump around with many small sections and doesn't present much information. It also seems to be poorly worded, particularly in the "national park" section. I cleaned up a bit, but it needs some work. Jdoty 02:12, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Article is pretty good now. Needs sources. --Lendorien 14:05, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Locus of control is grammatically poor (the plural of locus is loci), incorrectly uses terminology (says that people are internal/external loci, when instead it should be that they *have* internal/external loci), doesn't cite it's sources (source that women tend to have external loci more than men?), and needs major paragraph reformatting. Tarayani 02:50, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
  • History of IBM needs a rewrite, for the reasons I give on its talk page. Thomas Ash 16:29, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Scaler needs a more informative outlook. Stot 20:13, 11 November 2006
  • This article needs work. It lacks formal tone, lacks normal information for inclusion in a game article and needs sourcing. --Lendorien 08:26, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • ZigBee is starting to read like a bunch of ad copy for vendors. --MountainLogic 20:14, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Article (especially in the introduction) needs to be rewritten to make it more accessable to the layman. No-one but major computer geeks will ever really know what the heck it's talking about as it currently stands. I can't help because I'm one of the laymen.--Lendorien 23:32, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Malaric not a horrible mess but not nearly adequate Devotchka 03:05, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Is a serviceable stub at the moment, but needs sourcing. --Lendorien 08:22, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Jedediah Smith This is a mess all of the information is pretty much just made up to be a joke, the article talks about hot pockets, sasquatches and wizards. Please fix. 68.207.117.147 04:41, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Article seems to have been vandalized; I have fixed what I could find. Can the rest of the contents - most of which has been added in this series of edits - be verified? - Mike Rosoft 13:04, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Mizu ni Sumu Hana is just a confusing mess. I tried to fix it myself but since I don't know anything about the series, I cannot do it accurately. What does "Rikka is hospitalized but when she finally leaves the hospital she can't move on from the trauma because she is continuously attacked in several bizarre ways involving water" mean?? Even if I can fix the grammar I can't really explain what the series is about. Devotchka 01:28, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
  • England national basketball team - This page has some problems. There are several places with poor grammar, and some of it seems to have been directly copied. -- Discboy 02:35, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Henry Ward Beecher - The article is just a continuous stream of quotes from sources, and is therefore extremely disjointed. Anchoress 03:54, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I've done a few things here and there in this article. Still needs work. The same two sources are quoted repeatedly for almost the entire article. --Lendorien 09:55, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] September/October 2006

  • List of PlayStation 1 games - needs references for every game listed. Each game is also missing the entries for it's developer, publisher, and release date. Ceros 02:59, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Word Of Life - Probably needs some content checking for POV and nuetrality. Also need sources. --Lendorien 22:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • History of the United States (1988–present) - This article needs more external sourcing. It also has some formatting errors (including overlap at the bottom of the page). This article should also include a little more information about this time period (demographic trends, economic trends, important issues, etc ((which can possibly become separate articles in the future)) ) 5ptcalvinist T.u.L.i.P
  • Futures exchange - is extremely confusing; I've taken macroeconomics (and garnered a 4.0, harrumph), always read the newspaper, and was totally confused about this article. It needs a good one-over by an economist. I posted it in the Business and Economics Wikiproject. hopefully someone will take a look at it.
  • Medical technologist Needs work, and proofreading as well as possible reorganization of the information. There is lots of unsupported information that needs to have references cited. Also the list of external links is completely ridiculous and needs desperately to be culled. --edi 14:47, 18 March 2007 (UTC) & --Lendorien 22:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Religion and politics - I started this a while ago when the Christianity and politics page was created: it now needs some tidying up or possibly separate pages for particular religions. Jackiespeel 17:12, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
  • St. Johnsbury Academy - Requires rewriting, possibly some content cut. notability issues as well as a lack of sources. Rajrajmarley 19:28, 14 October 2006 (UTC) & --Lendorien 22:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Igarassu - Needs verification and sources. --Lendorien 01:00, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Inocente de Ti - looks like copyvio. Not encyclopedic. Very long plot synopsis, long list of credits and very badly formatted. Mona-Lynn 06:38, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
  • A1 Team USA - The article reads as if it was written by a pr company. I've edited the Background Story section [2], but the rest of the article also needs a lot of attention. Aecis I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive 10:51, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
  • System Accident - This article needs to be totally rewritten. shotwell 02:38, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Peter Bruff article needs references. Currently has none. --MPW 03:12, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Infantry tactics may not represent a neutral worldview. Some assertions are not supported with detailed references. The introduction is vague and needs to be expanded.
  • King Piccolo Saga - It's inconsistent in terms of grammar, tense, and style, and reads as though a lot of it was taken from a random fan site on the internet. 68.39.249.165 07:26, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Folk high school - especially the France part is in very bad shape, almost incomprehensible. --Espoo 00:24, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Richard Sorge - disorganized, confusing, and poorly written User:Msvarley
  • Rights of Man The article is extremely cluttered and lacking of any sources. It could be divided into subsections and some parts removed or merged into other wikipedia articles.
  • Took a first pass, there needs to be more done though. Sunspeck 06:10, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
A little better than it was orginally, but it still needs some work to make it more coherant. The various sections do not segway into one another very well. I would work on it, but I'm not very knowledgeable about the subject. --Lendorien 19:27, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Magnetic moment - There's a problem here and elsewhere with "magnetic poles," which are discussed as if they were magnetic monopoles. The magnetic moment is first defined as the pole strength times the separation. The correct definition (current times area) is given later in the article, but the earlier reference to poles is both confusing and wrong. The initial discussion of diamagnetism on this page is also confusing. --Bjheiden, 11:25 PM (EDT), 13 September 2006
  • Egyptian burial - Poor grammar in several sections, and the section on The Indestructibles completely neglects the precession of the equinoxes, although the full article on the indestructibles is a bit more informative.
  • have tried the obvious grammar/spelling/undisclosed conspiracy theories, but needs the attention of an Egyptologist (amateur or otherwise) to be truly cleaned. --Callix 12:11, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Delta Upsilon - Not scholarly at all, trivial paragraphs, needs to be seriously worked on. Reads like it was copied from a fraternity brochure.

[edit] July/August 2006

  • Floating point - this article is very scrappy and poorly organized. -- Earle Martin [t/c] 13:34, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Spring Waltz - This article seems like original research with a lot of subjective comments in it that need to be weeded out. The introduction needs to be expanded to include a very brief overview of the series. --Lendorien 16:56, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Wari' - Tone & level of detail are inconsistent (& frequently odd); crucial information confusing or missing; no citations. Details of recommended cleanup are posted on the Talk page. --Vcrs 08:29, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Appears much improved, but still needs work. Espeically sources, some tone work and wikifying. --Lendorien 18:01, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi - This article is too long and in places badly written - perhaps it should be split into several articles
  • Mohammad Nabi Mohammadi - Needs some work by someone knowledgable in Afghani history and politics. I added this to Wikiproject Afghanistan. --Lendorien
  • Waste minimisation- Article has spelling and grammar issues, confusing, lack of context, uses lots of big words that explain little and just generally needs help. Needs someone whith knowledge of the subject to look it over. It currently has 8 tags on it. Ouch. --Lendorien 22:58, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
  • The article now has 5 tags (3 tags less than it org. had, still needs more information, however)! -- ElliotThomas 16:00, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
