Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) has published A Self-Help Guide To Divorce In New Jersey , which consists of instructions and forms designed for self-represented litigants. The 252- page book is available free of charge to clients of Legal Services and to people with low incomes.

Individuals may call the LSNJ hotline at (888) 576-5529 (outside of New Jersey, please call 732-572-9100 and ask to be transferred to the hotline) to find out if they qualify for a free copy. Others may purchase a copy of the Guide for $25 by contacting LSNJ. A portion of the Guide (the instructions but not the forms) is available at the Legal Services Web Site.
